Shelby's Legendary Shawarma

look, i dont normally write reviews but this is horrible. My shawarma bowl had over 5 table spoons of oil. yes OIL. the bowl was swimming in OIL. This is dangerous to health. never ordering again.

Came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Two of my friends ordered the beef shawarma, one ordered the chicken. Everything tasted great. Unfortunately me and and the other two who ordered the beef shawarma suffered from serious digestive evacuation. Stick to the chicken if you go here.

They double charge my credit card for the same order . Still waiting for a refund passing a month now 😒
I visited the store at least 3 times talking to the staff took my number and took order numbers but always the same answer we talked to the manger and processing! I'm not sure at this point how they really run this business ?

Service was lovely. Nice, bright, cheery and clean space. The shawarma are awesome. Meats are nicely flavored and their in house bread is quite lovely.

Man where do I start with the shawarma. There’s just not enough toppings. It’s like eating bread sauce n some chicken. As others have said it can be greasy. Whether it’s the fries or the meat I’m not sure.

I like fries with my shawarma so that and the bread is good

But $1 for extra toppings is robbery, $2 for extra sauce is crazier. There’s not enough toppings on the sandwich tbh it’s too small. The meat is okay, but it is definitely not the best chicken. Barely any molasses if any tbh I didn’t taste it

When this Shelbey’s location first opened, I tried them and felt the flavor wasn’t quite like what I had before in Mississauga. But I went back this past weekend and the food was exceptional! Everything was fresh, the beef shawarma was full of flavor and their legendary poutine lived up to its name. So glad I gave them another try!

We didn’t like chicken shawarma there weird taste and the color was brown not tasty at all and beef shawarma my husband liked it but this my last visui will not come back again
