Negative stars if I could, I never leave reviews, but this was honestly too bad to ignore. I tried a few pastries, and they just tasted like straight sugar, no real flavor or quality at all. On top of that, they were stale, and old. Completely unacceptable and really disappointing experience. I won’t be coming back.

I ordered Cappuccino, The test was awful very better I ask them to make it better , unfortunately it the same. Honestly I never ever experienced this kind of awful test in my life. What a waste of money!! I will not step my foot again in this place again.

Hi a customer who came here on numerous visits.. where to start? I dont find this place that special overall. The environment is decent and crowded at times. The line up section is quite awkward and can be a bit confusing. Customer service is a hit or miss but to be fair they do get busy and that can be stressful. Their black coffee had not much flavor, but coffee beans is not their specialty so no shock there. I tried a few of their cakes and desserts. Cakes are on the pricy side. 40 dollars for a fruit cake. I'd go back for opera cake slice and their mango cake.

Simply Biscotti is my favourite place to eat in Ottawa! The atmosphere is comfy and friendly! Was a pleasure to meet Robert the owner today as he introduced himself to the customers. The food is fantastic and offers a variety of delicious homemade sandwiches and the best desserts I’ve ever had! I highly recommend Simply Biscotti and always look forward to my next visit! Simply Biscotti is hands down the best coffee shop. Their coffee is amazing, and they have a huge variety of food and desserts, so there’s always something new to try. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with a really nostalgic vibe that makes you want to stay a while. The owner and staff are phenomenal, genuinely friendly, welcoming, and they make you feel like a regular from the first visit. Highly recommend.

He has a strong commitment to quality and having an extensive selection of croissants, paninis, hot and cold drinks, pastries, cakes and so many biscotti to choose between. There is also a take home frozen food section. There are plenty of seating and clean washrooms.

The date square was fresh and not too sweet, and the latte was smooth and done right. They also serve a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches. Chill, cozy café. Would definitely come back.

Great and friendly place. No problem with the staff but the bottom line is that I ordered a carrot cake with cream cheese icing -- and yet there is no taste of cream cheese at all. Zero. It is just a very bland icing -- not even with the taste of vanilla or anything else for that matter. So actually every slice of this cake which was not cheap is a disappointment.
