“I dined in at this restaurant for the 1st time today and it was excellent. Water with ice was brought upon sitting down. I ordered the pork bun which came with 2 delicious spring rolls. The tea came next and then the food. Pork was tender, vegetables were very fresh and included mint and green onions. Peanuts topped the dish. It was very good , the service was so friendly and the restaurant met my cleanliness standards. I will return“

“The food was delicious, but there was hair in the food. My appetite suddenly dropped. We need to improve hygiene. I should at least wear a hat while cooking. Next time you invite me, I hope the restaurant that preserved this deliciousness will be a little more sanitary. Best of luck.“

“We have been eating here many time since it’s open . The Korean fire chicken is still a standout dish, with its spicy sauce that perfectly complements the tender meat. The addition of Chinese dishes has elevated the menu even further. The BBQ duck is crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside, while the chicken is marinated to perfection.
The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. I highly recommend trying their desserts as well; it's the perfect sweet treat to round off your dining experience. Overall, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in delicious Korean and Chinese flavors!“

“This place is so incredible! I’ve been here twice now and both times, our food was so delicious and fresh. The ttoekbokki is definitely my favourite of all the ones I’ve tried in Ottawa so far. Their beef bulgogi is my favourite and all the side dishes are also super yummy! To top it all off, their service is amazing.“

“The dumplings are tasty. It is a long wait. They do not take names so you have to stand there for 40 minutes in the cold to be seated. It would be better if they took numbers and called when it was time to be seated. Overall the food was good, and if it is warm outside it is worth the wait.“

“Good food, small space and big heart! Social Thai serves good food in a small space run by the nicest people. Don't judge the place from the outside. It is tiny with just a few tables. Venture inside for good food. We started with veggie and shrimp eggrolls, crispy and tasty. We had curry for the main course. Spicyness was subtle and potent but not overwhelming. We finished our meals with some delicious pistachio and chocolate pastries. If space and surroundings matter to you, try their take out. We will remember the restaurant as the small place offering good food serve by friendly people. Social Thai on the corner of Bank and Waverley.“
