Really sad that I have to change my review, but as a returned customer and usually order same things (Miami sumomaki and salmon tartare maki) I can tell it’s not what I usually get and I’m very disappointed in my order this time via Uber eats. They used the seed part of cucumber for my tartare and no soy sauce for Miami sumomaki (I assume they come together since I always got soy sauce without ordering extra)

The atmosphere of the staff is really good, they are really nice and keep a good paste on food preparation, they are clean and keep sanitary of the food a top priority I have come before and will keep coming in the coming future absolutely deserved the 5 stars across the board!Parking: Plaza size parking lotKid-friendliness: Food selection can vary from simplistic to complex and can accommodate children and people of all agesWheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk has a place for wheelchairs and the establishment is flat and tables are spread out enough to fit a wheelchair

Not all Sushi Shops are created equal. This one is excellent!The service was really good. The food looks and tastes delicious and the servings are generous. As promised, my order was ready on time and the people were very nice.We had one each of:Diablo, Phoenix, Red Velvet, Black Mamba and 911.This was plenty for 3 people.Thank you, we'll be back soon!
Ex-employee here. The owner at this restaurant almost only cares about sales and cost control, even sometimes this means lower the quality of food and exhaust the employees. We were unfairly payed for the amount of the work we had to do. Sushi Shop tried to brand itself as a higher end “fast food sushi”, but it’s menu items are way too huge and some of the sushi rolls are extremely complicated to make, it’s like using fast food quality ingredients to make fine dining sushi, employees could become so stressed, but we get payed the same as a fast food worker.

So dirty! Food on the floors, tables, chairs.. Staff unfriendly and sitting around. The place was dead at 6pm. The food wasn’t bad but I was left wondering how clean the kitchen is.

I ordered three dishes today, one of the dishes was spicy salmon poke bowl with brown rice. When I picked it up I was told the dish was spicy tuna. I informed them and they asked me if I was sure that’s what I ordered, of course I was! They scraped off the tuna and replaced it with the salmon. I was totally fine with that. I went home and starting eating my food only to discover that it was white rice ? and there was a huge piece of avocado peel in there. I was very disappointed with my meal.

This in the TOP SUSHI SHOP in Ottawa/Gatineau!!! The other locations need to learn from this place! Other locations don’t put the proper ratio of the ingredients to make the flavour come alive! Will be coming back for sure! Great and friendly staff!
