Visited for lunch, March 28. Server was great but food was lousy! Philly steak sandwich was made from old beef. Salt dish with fries unacceptable and burger was 2/5. Westboro location is like night and day.Complained but no reaction except to say try something else next time!!

Food was good and the service was fast and very friendly. We were there just as it open so it wasn't busy.If you get the BBQ Cheese Burger, make sure you have a big mouth because it's huge! Very tasty!

Went for the big amazing zucchini but it wasn't as big as used to be. Bit of a letdown. However the service was great the atmosphere is typical of any old pub and the prices were.

I used to go here a lot when I was younger and enjoyed the vibe. I started coming back and it's clear it's not as busy as it used to be, not sure why that is but I was pleased to learn they have great deals on food now, with every day of the week something different. I was recommended the Yorkie bites by the bartender the last time I visited and yum! Perfect amount of food for me. We've been here for wings in the past and those are always a good choice. It's great they feature local beer, 1000 islands. Friendly and welcome service. We will be back!

Food was okay but the price is high compared to the amount of food. Appreciate the military discount on meals though.

I remember going there for new year celebration, there was lot of place at the bar and bar tender had a lot of time but never asked us what we needed for the drinks. We sat there for 30 min and he was free for more than 15 min. Whole if the restaurant was packed with light coloured people and we were only two brown coloured people in the whole crowd. And the bar tender kept looking at us with a stink eye and served at least 10 people of arrived after us. He went to them right away while we were sitting right in front of him. Lastly I just called him to please serve us at least a drink. For the first time I felt discriminated here in Ottawa. Can never forget that night doesn’t matter how much time passes away. Never been there after that day and never ever will.

Poor value for the money spent.Took my wife and kid for dinner and the kid left hungry because the two sliders he ordered had nothing on them, there was barely one kids mouthful of meat on either of his sliders so he basically ate a tiny $10 basket of French fries and some buns for dinner. We had to feed him when we got home again.Wife ordered fish and chips, said they were ok. Small portion for the price paid again.I ordered the Malaysian chicken, taste was good but it was like a soup. The sauce was the consistency of broth and the bowl was full of this broth, I had to go hunting for the ingredient In the soup. Vegetables were somewhat uncooked and small amount of chicken for the price. We both ordered a drink, myself a large beer which was actually just a pint for nearly $9 not sure what the smaller options would have been, shot glasses? Wife ordered a glass of wine for $11 it was a small glass.Server was friendly and food came in a reasonable amount of time, not quickly though, we were one of only a few tables.Overall can’t say I’m impressed, had been to this location when it first opened for many years after that and it was always great. Now I’m not sure I would go back.Kid-friendliness: My kid left hungry because all he ate was bread and French fries, the two sliders he had had nearly no meat on them just two buns with about 1/8 of a regular patty of meat, not even a mouthful.

Ot as good as the one on Bank St. but it's still quite solid. Had the fish and chips, wasn't bad. They could do to keep a few different kins of stouts though.
