Everything you want in a pub. We went as a group of 20 guys after hockey Monday night. The service was great, and the food was hot and tasty. The Pilsner special is a good deal and a very enjoyable drink. Plus, it is hard to beat half priced wings!

I have been to this location in the past and have always enjoyed it. Friday night was different. The table was dirty a used straw was left, our server brandon brought us menus that were stuck together. My Girlfriend ordered 9 oz glass of wine,the wine was served in a jar separate from the glass. The glass was dirty so i asked for a replacement and Brandon the server shrugged his shoulders and looked at the glass and said i guess. Im sorry i have never seen a server act like that for a glass replacement. The only ly good thing was the food. So shout out to the back of the house.

Trivia Night is great! We enjoyed our food and the beer. I love both the Black and Blue and the Warm Goat Cheese and Walnut salads. The goat cheese is an amazing crusty nugget of deliciousness!

Overall it's ok... Food was ok, service was ok... Lots of 'interesting' conversations happening in the bar section... Not sure I would recommend it for kids, but it seems to be hit or miss on staff and customer base...

I had a really great time here at the Barhaven Royal Oak. I went with a large group of friends for a Monday dinner and trivia event. I had the January White sale fish and chips special, which was very good. The food was delivered fast and hot, the batter was nice and crispy while the fish itself was light and flaky. The fries were abundant as was the cole slaw. I Oaked up a few drafts, which were cold and decently priced. The pub was quite busy, but service remained attentive and efficient. Finally, the trivia game was really well done and a lot fun (despite it being on the more challenging side - another reason to go with a group of friends). Every element of the evening was very good, and putting them all together made for an excellent time.
