They always under fill the ice caps… every time I’ve gone here they don’t give as much as other Tim’s, and they sometimes don’t punch in the right costs…

Review for Tim Hortons – Quickie Store, Barrhaven (Rideaucrest)
I stopped at this Tim Hortons and was very disappointed with the service. The young man working the drive-thru was clearly busy handling orders, and I waited patiently inside. While waiting, I could hear a young woman in the back chatting with someone instead of helping customers.
Another customer came in and noticed I hadn’t been served. She called out “Hello, anyone here?” That’s when Katie finally came out, and instead of stepping up to help, she yelled at the drive-thru worker, Will, telling him to serve us—even though he was already swamped. I politely said, “He’s clearly busy with the drive-thru, so you can serve us.”
Katie then took her time, gave me attitude while asking for my order, and made the interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. I simply ordered a tea, and as I left, I wished her a good night. The look on her face made it clear she realized I wasn’t happy and might complain—because suddenly, after handing me my drink, she switched and was polite, wishing me a nice evening.
The lack of consistent customer service is frustrating. If that were my own daughter working, I would have told her directly: your job is to serve customers, and you need to take it seriously. This type of behaviour gives the store a bad reputation.

The coffee was great and the customer service was also great. I was treated with respect and the worker Katie was really sweet. Very satisfied and will definitely come again!

I wrote a review reporting the cleaness issues at this location a few weeks ago. A few days ago, i visited again and the cleaness has improved a lot. Thanks for the owner to address the issue quickly. I've been visiting this location for more than 10 years and love the new look after the rennovation. I plan to keep visiting. Good job!

Always a pleasure and some love it when I have my dog with me! My dog recognizes the drive thru menu and sits like a show dog hoping for a Tim Bit 💕it’s our daily routine!

I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a brown sugar oat latte, I made CERTAIN to state I needed oat milk. I was given dairy instead. Yesterday I asked for the same thing and received oat milk in my latte as opposed to whatever dairy was used today.
When I called to ask and let them know, Danny the assistant manager was kind of rude; telling me that’s how it’s made and being extremely condescending. Defending the mistake instead of acknowledging it. I mentioned that I specified oat milk and since he took my order, I’m wondering what happened. I am severely lactose intolerant within 10 min of a sip I was doubled over.
Nowhere in the menu or signage does it state that the oat latte is made with milk/cream. Allergens are serious and should be either posted or heeded when asked.

Update: I was contacted by the manager of this location who did actually make great effort to apologize, explain recent changes and rectify the situation. Communication goes a long way and I value this gesture and appreciate this response to my experience. I’m updating my rating and will return and give it another shot…
I’ve been going to this location for years but in the last year I started going out of my way to other locations in Barrhaven to avoid this place. Almost every time I order food here it’s wrong or missing items or they tell you once you get to the drive thru window they don’t actually have that item. I’ve gone with a friend a few times just to see what her experience was and she had the same issues. On one occasion we expressed annoyance over the type of egg bites they had prepared to give to us because they said they didn’t have the spinach ones at the window (friend is vegetarian and they only had bacon). After several minutes of frustration and holding up the line someone came up saying they found some spinach ones… it seems they are dishonest and push customers thru with whatever they have available at the moment. I just tried again this morning and sure enough they took my order but didn’t have the bagel I asked for when I got to the window. The lack of knowledge about what they have, or the fact that they take the order even if they don’t have that product, and the level of incompetence is so frustrating it’s just not worth the stop.

Every single morning when I go for my coffee if there’s five cars in front of me, I can tell you with 100% certainty that I will be stuck there for at least 15 minutes waiting for my coffee
