Extremely poor service attitude. It was my first time visiting this place, and because I accidentally chose the wrong option on the menu, the staff spoke to me in a very condescending and sarcastic manner. Her tone was unpleasant and unprofessional. The whole experience was ruined by a rude Canadian-born Asian girl.
Two sandwich and one sweet potato fries, spent 38cad. I didn’t know there was a lunch set menu, so I ordered à la carte. The staff didn’t mention anything and just charged us the full à la carte price. Later, I noticed there was a cheaper set menu advertised in a corner of the restaurant.
What can I say! Excellent that’s what. Went to Vera’s on the recommendation of my daughter and it was great. For those of us who live in a condo without BBQ access this is just like cooking in your backyard.
Will be back next time I’ll ask that my burger be more medium than well done but still very tasty.
Terrific service, really fun vibe. The grand kids loved watching the burgers being made, a novel place for lunch in the heart of a busy butcher shop. Burgers were amazing and the fries are addictive good! Have to visit again for a poutine. Went back to get a couple of cuts of top quality meat after lunch. The full turkey breast boneless roast is a big fave at our house. Thank you to the lovely dark haired young lady at the cash! Very nice experience. Top drawer all around.

Filling out the ordering papers is really annoying. It's basically impossible while lugging a baby around as a person with impaired vision.
The burgers are delicious, however this is now the second time I have come here and smelled human septic matter. The smell its self really really grosses us out. Trying to eat and all we smell is poop. Not very good at all. I really hope they figure out what is going on cause it was grossing us out so much we had to leave. Also I didn’t see dates on things in the fridges and the place where they store the veggies could have been cleaner.

The sandwiches here are really delicious and seem more natural because they leave you satisfied without being too full, mostly like due to the great quality of meat. The ingredients seem so fresh and tasty, I highly recommend the beef burger with Swiss cheese.

Delicious burgers, with thick juicy patties. Cooked on the grill with a nice charcoal taste. The poutine was good but average. Friendly staff. I recommend. 9.1/10
