Absolutely loved the tzatziki sauce in the gyro, it was fresh and flavorful! Dawn was incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Updated review: they removed the Philly burger. I used to get the Philly burger, extra cheese sauce and added coleslaw. It’s the only place in Ottawa that had it, and now it’s gone. I honestly haven’t been back since that’s happened, except for a poutine here n there. While the burgers are still good, I have to drop this down to a 4 star
Old: 5stars but they ain’t open late. First of all their burgers are AMAZING. Easily worth $10. Poutine quality top notch but the employees need to lesson on how to pour gravy and make fries. Wasn't impressed with having tiny end pieces of fries ruining my poutine on multiple occasions. I dont care about your waste product, i want fries. Everything these guys have is perfectly portioned for a man. Food is dope! Meat is GREAT. Their Cheesy zesty sauce is dank btw get it.

It was my first time trying this place, and for being celiac certified, it made me feel so much safer to eat here. I got the Ottawa burger and a poutine. Both were hands down, so freaking good. Our server Dawn was also amazing she made me and my family feel very welcoming. You guys should also start selling you bacon mayo. I would buy that by the truck loads. Lol

Loved this place. They do take out and dine in. They have a Greek menu and the World Burger menu. It's a 2-for-1 deal when you eat here in case you can't decide. The sign outside is for The Happy Greek with a small World Burger sign underneath, so you might miss it.
Restaurant was very clean and service was great, friendly and quick. We were here at 6 pm on a Friday.
They have a soooo many options if you're gluten free or celiac, with a dedicated fryer and side of the kitchen for gf prep.
I had greek, my friends had burgers. Everyone loved their food... there was 0 talking and only eating. Hahaha! Give it a try if you're in the Westend.

This isn't world burger anymore. It's some Greek restaurant and that should have been my first red flag. We decided to try it regardless of its confusing branding since this was previously our favorite burger joint on ottawa.
We arrive the the front door to have 2 peices of paper on the doors to denote take out or dine in directions. Seems rather unprofessional and low budget how it's presented. Red flag #2
We wait to be seated it's now a full dining experience? The waitress asks us to sit and doesn't bring us menus. We get ourselves menus and see that the large variety of burgers is now 6 and a bunch of Greek foods. Disappointing but expected with the weird branding change. We wait another 5 minutes before the waitress brings us water and takes our drink orders. We at this point start discussing if we should go elsewhere despite the red flags. We decide to give it a shot request our drinks and look over the menu. Another 5 minutes later finally get our drinks. But the waitress doesn't take our order and runs off.
Very frustrated at this point I take a sip of my drink to find it watered down and flat. This the last red flag we decide at this point to leave.
Whatever this rebrand is for world burger is not working. You guys should just get rid of the world burger off brand crap and stop lying to your former patrons. Never coming back. Go to the works to get your burger fix.
