Meredith is one of those rare proprietors who truly understands the cafe business. The quality of the coffee and food is far beyond what one would expect of any higher end cafe this side of Paris. Her care, consideration, and pride are reflected in conversation but also in what is offered. In my case possibly the best sausage roll I have ever had. Flaky pastry, generous bratwurst, and a hint of mustard, made me think such things could in fact be gourmet. It was made in store, still warm from her own oven. This followed with a drip darkroast that I swear is better than any americano I regularly swill all over the GTA. The ambiance and tranquility of Meredith's shop, the abundance of baked goods and timelessness of small town ontario conspired to win my heart. You MUST stop here, say hi and enjoy some of what coffee culture is supposed to be about.

Popped in for a quick grab & go lunch. Thankful I chose MeMe’s as the Feta Salad was delicious and the fruit salad to-go had a wide variety of fruit rarely seen in any take out option I’d witnessed elsewhere. Baked goods looked amazing too. Canada needs more MeMe’s!

I had the opportunity to enjoy this business's wonderful food this past long weekend.
My partner and I were at Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life for their sunset dining with alpacas and their package includes several fine food items that are from Meme's Café & Food Shop.
Absolutely delicious, healthy, made with care and attention to detail, and using fresh local ingredients.
I highly recommend giving them a try, you won't be disappointed!

Merideth is always smiling, super friendly, and genuinely loves what she does. That kind of energy is infectious! The food is fresh ingredients, cooked to perfection, and bursting with flavor. Their scones are addictive. Plus, their cafe mocha is the real deal. But what really puts Meme's Cafe over the top is the little touches. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into every detail, from the cozy decor to the thoughtfully crafted menu. It's the kind of place that just makes you happy. Honestly, I can't recommend Meme's Cafe enough. It's more than just a cafe; it's a little slice of happiness in New Hamburg. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great cafe with a cozy ambiance! Tried the Café Mocha and Iced Tea Latte, and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the quality was top-notch. Definitely a place worth visiting for a great coffee experience!
Lovely local shop! In addition to a large variety of items made fresh in their kitchen they also sell locally sourced produce. You'll also find jams, pasta, pies, hot sauces, syrup and so much more - all local 😁 There's a small seating area by a large window and there's street parking

My daughter had your chilli yesterday and hasn’t stopped talking about it! She said it was the best chilli she has ever had and is begging me to bring her back already (she’s 12 and persistent) but we are from 45 mins away so not a quick trip :) We will be back!
