The owners are independent, kind, giving to the community, selfless, generous, and they have good hearts. I recommend anyone, student or career person, to visit this restaurant. The portions are generous, the food is delicious, and you're not supporting a soulless machine corporation. They're worth every penny. Definitely try their food.”

“Stopped by Scan & Dram in New Hamburg and had the fish & chips with French fries — absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, flaky and tender on the inside. The batter wasn’t greasy at all, just light and full of flavour. The French fries were golden, fresh, and seasoned just right — the perfect side to the fish. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and well made. Great food, great spot, and definitely somewhere I’d go back to when I’m craving classic fish & chips done right. Not gonna lie… I don’t post about food like this often.

Tried Pizza Arca in New Hamburg for the first time today and I liked it so much I couldn’t stop myself from sharing it here.

I’m pretty picky with pizza, so this says a lot. Always good to support a local spot that’s actually doing it right 🍕

“For a small town with so many pizza places, Ajit's New Orleans Pizza, has always been my family's go to. The store is always clean, pick up or delivery is available. I recently ordered in advance for my daughter's birthday party and it was a success. Ajit and his team of pizza makers are always accommodating for dietary restrictions and/or special requests . “I have been looking for good chicken balls for years now. I haven't been able to find them. I used to love Cameron Seafood in Kitchener but their chicken balls and their food in general is hit an miss. I find the chicken in the chicken balls tough and rubbery at Cameron. I've tried finding chicken balls at other places that are either tough and rubbery or the grease used tastes very old.

I did not have this problem at Le On in New Hamburg. Their chicken balls were tender and the oil did not taste old at all. I am super impressed. Soon I will have to order some of their other dishes.”
