Sushi You has delicious food! My husband and I love sushi and have tried many in the KW area. We visit New Hamburg often and tried Sushi You twice. The sushi is amazingly fresh and YUMMY! Definitely worth the drive for us.

Excited to try some sushi closer to home, but ended up disappointed. We got the small Maki tray, and the rolls themselves were fine, but very small. To use the descriptor “big” for any of them was very misleading. The rest of our order was just as disappointing. We got the deep fried yam and shrimp tempura, expecting yam slices fried in tempura, and a few tempura shrimp. For $14, what we got was what looked like a few McCain sweet potato fries and a single tempura shrimp chopped up in a little container, with tempura flakes sprinkled on top. The $8 order of edamame was also tiny, hardly enough for my 3 year old, mush less the two adults who also might have wanted some. Even the miso soup came in a smaller container than I‘be ever seen from a sushi restaurant. For $90, my wife and I are left hungry and raiding the fridge for leftovers after some very mid sushi 😕

We had gotten takeout here previously and hadn’t been blown away, but thought we’d give it another go. We (two people) ordered a party tray as well as a few appetizers and are sitting here now having finished it all, still hungry. The pictures are not at all representative of the size of the pieces (what I think of as a small roll elsewhere is what is called a big roll here).
It tasted fine. Nothing spectacular. But the cost we paid ($90) compared to the amount of food we received, has left me feeling really disappointed.

I had an amazing experience at Sushi You! The sushi is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious, with every bite showcasing the care and quality put into the preparation. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, making the atmosphere warm and inviting. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch sushi spot!
This is a mediocre take out sushi place. There’s no dining room, and I would say the sushi is a little better than grocery store sushi, but not as good as most sushi restaurants I have been to. The service was good and friendly, just the food was not that great.

Amazing fresh quality fish and ingredients. Large rolls are ten pieces so the slices are a bit thinner but in this way you get to savour it more. Unagi sauce and ginger were amazing. Please consider offering tempura sauce if you can :) we tried the Rainbow Roll and it was 5 stars. A must visit for sushi lovers in New Hamburg and the surrounding area! Note: no seating available inside.
