“I lived in Newburgh for almost 3 years and it was my first time visiting the Egg Basket a few weeks ago. I was impressed by how quaint the shop was. I ordered 2 dozen of the double yoked eggs for only $4.25 each. I was impressed by the price and the size of them. Also, they are delicious!!”

“A few months ago a customer of mine introduced me to this hidden gem. I was also introduced to Ellena. A very pleasant individual, her lovely café also sells wines, teapots, jams, cheese, dishcloths and a lot more. I just got a coffee and my wife got a mocha latte. The cherry on top is that with your drink they give you what appears to be a bite sized almond square to go with your drink. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area! 5 stars.”

“This place normally has a great selection of meat . And the meat is of fantastic quality. The prices are more than reasonable on meat . Also there made to order subs are also great. . Its not to be able to get groceries and a sub for lunch and alcohol all in the same store . It's a great small town store fantastic. The cashiers are very polite and helpful”

“So this is a take out place only. Great to eat in car in the parking lot, on the drive back home or on the road or also to bring to events etc.
food is excellent and fresh. The breads are lovely but especially the Kaiser roll. All veg is also fresh and crisp and the cheeses are also fresh. Excellent assortment of deli meats and very surprised on the depth and breadth of imported foods that are available as well.
Service is friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere is cute is what I can say. It’s got a sort of European deli feel hence lots of European packaged foods I suspect.
Love their menu board and wonder if you can also create your own.
This place blows away any sandwich place that’s for sure.
I will certainly recommend this place and further, I will now become a regular patron.”

“Today I took my Mother-In-Law out for lunch and decided to go to Spuds Restaurant. My Mother-In-Law has a lot of issues eating certain foods due to Radiation and Chemo on her throat. She decided on a plain omelette to try. And yes, she had a lot of problems trying to swallow. The owner asked if she could bring her a Rice Pudding as it was good a creamy. Even though she never complained about the omelette. One thing she can eat is Rice Pudding. What an amazing and kind thing to do, without being asked. Thank you so much Sue, you were so compassionate . I will highly recommend Spuds Restaurant. And by the way, my meal was awesome. 👍💕”

“If you love homemade food that you really can’t find anywhere else- the Royal Coachman is the place to go. We have been coming here for over 25 years. The food is amazing. Highly recommend. Our fav is the mushroom caps with homemade croissants & the Chicken Wellington served with potato, candied carrots, & mixed vegetables. As far as I can tell I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is always good & so friendly & welcoming.”

I always have a very positive experience when I see their smiling faces!
