I stopped by Newcastle Griddle for lunch while I was on the job, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The food was fresh, flavourful, and came out quickly — perfect for a workday break. What really stood out, though, was the amazing customer service. I had recently done a job for them, and they surprised me by giving me my drinks for free as a thank-you. It was a simple gesture, but it showed how much they value their customers and community.
Highly recommend this spot if you want great food, friendly service, and a place that treats you right. I’ll definitely be back!

Nice cute little joint. Seems to be the spot for the locals to meet and have a little visit.
Good and very friendly service. Food was good. I had the BLT and Soup of the day which was, chicken soup and it was very delish!
Coffee... well it was ok, overpriced,.. but isn't everything these days
I would definitely go back. It had a good vibe to it!

If you enjoy your Eggs Benedict with shells in your eggs this is your place. Didn't even offer to bring out a fresh order without the shells in my eggs.
Very disappointing

We went there for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. We sat outside and it was pretty busy. The server was very friendly and accommodating with food substitutions and omissions. The food itself was delicious and well cooked. It was a very nice and relaxing time. The outside patio is very pleasant. We will definitely go back again.

We found this place on our route and had a craving for a late breakfast. I read the reviews quickly so knew what to expect. The food was good but pricey for breakfast in this environment. The servers were lovely, but you need some patience. We got our own menus and cutlery. It has a nice little patio which has a better vibe than the inside.

Definitely not returning !!!
Shock came after paying the bill…coming to the realization- senior breakfast ordered charged as full day breakfast $9.9 became $13.50; waitress returned to ask what veggie for omelet naming mushroom and pepper…without informing added price for extra topping $1.99; not sure the price for steak omelet is as on menu
Since bill is paid by visa, don’t want to ruin the day by going back to 'negotiate' like the group of ladies who had to 'negotiate' unexpected charges, bill by bill.
Advised to inform customers about extra charges

lunch was delicious. our server (Kendra) was absolutely lovely - friendly, and very attentive. we'll be back!
So slow specially kitchen waiting time more than an hour for breakfast came around 10.30 and still waiting to be served for Benedict waste of your time now almost 12.00 . It’s not fine dining to wait this long simple breakfast therefore not a place to stop by
They packed a lot of tables into this cute little house without it feeling really packed.
Good food for a good deal, would recommend to a friend
