Amano Italian Kitchen

When I'm in town, this is my hidden gem of a getaway within the city. Quaint tables are nestled away with mood lighting and ambient music. I couldn't be more pleased with the food! I couldn't help myself with having some garlic bread before snapping a pic. Amanda, RJ and the other staff are always pleasant and provide prompt service. I like to stow away and work away from the office, and they make the best Almond Milk Cappuccino's I've had. The froth was heavenly. Thanks again for the extended lunch and office away from the office. Looking forward to being back soon! A must for anyone who wants take away, a romantic dinner, or to try something new in their own backyard.

food was perfect. fresh pasta, soft inside and crispy outside calamari. exceptional service.

This place is must visit if you are at the mall. The waiter was very courteous and left a positive impression. Also, I highly recommend the veal, and their Roman style pizza was really good.

Enjoyed a lunch here with my best friend today, had pizza, salad and then dessert which of course we went with cannolis and cappuccinos! All of it was delicious! Staff were friendly and our waitress Sabrina was amazing and so funny! Definitely recommend this place, my friend loves it so much she’s been multiple times! I’ll be back :)

Stopped in on a whim to try it and it’s hands down the best chicken parm I’ve ever had! The fries are above and beyond just run of the mill side fries with parmesan and truffle sauce. The food was fresh, the atmosphere was perfect after a morning of shopping and the staff were exceptional! Probably my new favourite place to eat! Will definitely recommend and be back!

Food was delicious. Would give it 5 stars if the wine had come in a stem glass?. Bought 2 jars of their salsa. Spicy but doesn't leave a burn in your mouth. We had the meatballs, chicken parmesan and of course amano fries.

Fresh and delicious food. Loved pizza and lasanga but a bit on the pricy side for the ambiance and quantity. Food came out slow when the place wasn't busy at all.Felt that there was a room to improve in service, server training.

My friends and I tried to stop by for some food and the layout was confusing, staff were very rude and the food was left to wait for 20min after which it was cold and not very good. Definitely not inspired by nonna.

Horrible Service. I asked for a cup of water with ice and was met with a horrible attitude. The waitress practically tossed the cup at me and made me and my friend feel extremely uncomfortable. We left shocked and confused. If the server is this upset over one cup of water, I cant imagine how she deals with any other upsets in the workplace.

This place is heaven.We ordered two cocktails which were good.Since I am a vegetarian, I had to ask whether there is anything for me; to which they said yes. Megan suggested me to have Truffle Potato pizza slice.So, I ordered Truffle Potato and Veggie Delight pizza slices.I must say, the flavours were bursting in my mouth. Both of these pizza slices had unique taste.The portion of the slice was quite good. I was almost full with just one slice.My husband ordered Amano Burger; it comes with Amano fries as a side. He said that this is one of the best burgers he has ever tried.And the showstopper was Amano fries. I have never had such sumptuous fries ever in my life. It was pure delicacy and flavours were just of this world.We also had Mascarpone Apple Cake as a takeout. I tried this dessert at home, warmed it up a little bit, and topped it with a scoop of Vanilla icecream. The cake was spongy and sweetness was perfect for me (not too sweet).Megan suggested most of the items to us on the menu and served us very well. She is very sweet and courteous.I would recommend Amano Italian Kitchen to everyone.

1) The calamari, and the dessert platter was absolutely delicious. 2) The pasta was average, not as much meat as I expected in it.Dessert - my favourites: cannoli, tiramisu, apple mascarpone cake (WOW delicious!)

Excellent food. Fresh and great quality. Very impressed by their takeout game. I find lots of restaurants may have good food but don’t use proper packaging for takeout which makes the food taste bad. Amano Italian Kitchen’s food arrived fresh and warm right at my doorstep. Thanks so much guys! Will recommend you!

Pretty disappointed with my order at Amano last night. I ordered “Nonna’s Tomato Rigatoni” and was surprised to see when I got home that I received “Spaghetti” I know it’s only a shape of pasta but if for some reason the restaurant had to substitute rigatoni for spaghetti letting the customer know is only the right thing to do. The pasta was over cooked and mushy. Very dissatisfied.

Sabrina was such a lovely server. Extremely satisfied with our meal! I would recommend Amanos to everyone! :)
