Visited Bagel World for the second time today with my family. Our first visit a few years ago wasn’t great, but I decided to give it another chance. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food quality did not live up to expectations. The bagellini egg and bacon sandwiches were extremely dry and difficult to eat, and the smoked salmon benedict was disappointing, the hollandaise sauce tasted like a store-bought version. With so many strong breakfast options now available in Newmarket, this place really needs to improve its food quality. Otherwise, it may struggle to keep up with the newer generation of diners who have plenty of better choices. Their cookies are very good though, cookies worth a try.

We have been loyal customers since this restaurant first opened in 2013, but our recent visit under the new ownership was extremely disappointing. The new owner Siva, displayed a complete lack of basic customer service skills. While two staff members were clearly overwhelmed serving customers, he stood around doing nothing but instead walking around. He then went around checking on other tables, asking if everything was okay, yet deliberately skipped ours. If you are cherry-picking which customers deserve attention, then perhaps you are not fit to be in this business. The lady who served us is always super friendly. As long-time patrons, being ignored like this from the owner himself was unacceptable and disrespectful. This experience has seriously changed our view of this place now.

Really charming restaurant, the waitresses had excellent service, the atmosphere was relaxed and the owner/manager came out several times to check that everyone had what they needed. Also, the homefries are perfectly seasoned, and the gluten free bagel is delicious!

We’ve only come here for the bakery section so far but we love their bagels. Soft, fluffy and still warm when you get them in the morning. I also love their cream cheese selection. I also like how their bagel selection isn’t too crazy. You get all the classics but done really well.

Ordered egg sandwich on bread gave me wrong order with bagel and placed on hold for 15 minutes while taking other orders then can hear he talking to her coworkers and laughing while I'm waiting. Then waited over 25-30 mins for a sandwhich
