Coop's Smokin' Wing House Newmarket

We recently celebrated our 70th and 65th birthday parties at Coop’s Smokin’ Wing House with a guest list of 55 people. The owner, Shawn, was a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to ensure our celebration was a great success.  He suggested the perfect menu, responded quickly to all my questions, and even allowed us to book the entire venue at no added cost. The servers, Charmaine and Rikki, were incredibly attentive to everyone’s requests and were fun and engaging with our guests. The food was not only delicious but also plentiful, and the pricing was reasonable. I highly recommend Coop’s to anyone wishing to host a private party in a fun and welcoming environment.

Probably the best wings I have had around the GTA. Perfectly smoked and tender, and delicious sauces.

We stopped in for wings and were pleasantly surprised. Great options for wing flavours and delicious food. Wings were exactly as I liked and accompanied by veggies and fries. It’s a cute bar atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend.

This is our new favorite place! First off, Charmaine, our server was terrific! Super personable and helpful. She started us off on the right note and was an important part of this great visit. The food was awesome...wings of course...presentation, quality, flavor, value all top notch. We will be back! Often. Thanks Charmaine!!

We came here on Tuesday wing night at 530pm. It was packed already but we were greeted right away and served a drink while we waited for our table. The two ladies serving the entire place were super friendly and attentive! Tina was our server and she was lovely:) We will definitely be back!

This place used to be a family favorite for years, but lately we have had such disappointing experiences. The wings are still pretty good but if you’re planning on getting the tenders prepare to be annoyed! The tenders used to be amazing, always covered in sauce and a quite a good size. However, for countless times now when we have ordered them they have been barely the size of my pinky and have had next to no sauce. I ordered the creole jerk this time which used to be AWESOME and I literally had to double check what I ordered because they looked like plain tenders. Oh, and the fries they come with? I counted exactly 12. Maybe it’s a problem with ordering takeout where places feel like they can skim on everything but the box they give you is embarrassing to look at as it’s not even half full. I would post a picture but for some reason it won’t let me. I never write reviews but have been compelled to as this has happened almost every time we have ordered for months now. Hoping to see some changes in the future, because for now we will be ordering elsewhere.

Extremely disappointed with the service here. Brought grandparents for a birthday and was highly unimpressed. The server was not friendly what’s so ever and came to our table saying “what do you want” when asking for our drink order. Hope this was just a one off kinda day for her - as no one deserves to be treated this way while out for dinner at an establishment. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending this restaurant to anyone - simply because of this experience.

However on a positive note, the cooks saved our dinner by fast and delicious food. Thank you to them!

Charmaine and Jen were a fantastic team—friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The beer selection was solid with great local picks. The spicy Caesar wings were absolute fire—crispy with a bold kick—and the fries hit the mark. What really stood out? They managed a minor customer dispute calmly and professionally, keeping the vibe relaxed and positive. Zero concerns. Just top-notch service all around. We'll definitely be back!

We came in on a rainy day but decided to sit in the covered patio anyways. If it wasn’t for a storm that brought torrential downpour and a sleeping 4yo in our laps, we would’ve stayed out there but were kindly offered a booth inside (for said sleeping kiddo).

I’m very picky when it comes to hot sauce and the suicide sauce for the wings was amazing. So much so I made it a point to pack up the sauce to eat at home haha servers were great and provided genuine friendly customer service. We’ll be back!
