I and my 10 year old son have visited Coops in Newmarket several times now, which is a testament to our experiences. The food is fantastic and so is the service! The waitresses, Rikki and Charmain, are on top of their game and have always been pleasant and fun. They take care of us well and are quick to touch base when we’ve finished our meals or need a drink, etc. My son has stated that it’s his favourite restaurant, and we’ll continue as patrons undoubtedly.
We always order from here and pick up and take it home. Food has always been good up until last night. We got two orders of fish and chips and the fish was horrendous. Undercooked and super fishy. I asked for fries well done… they were not well done they were barely done at all and ended up in the garbage along with the fish. Chicken strips were excellent but fries went in the garbage. The big kid poutine was ordered and paid for but we got a regular poutine. I did call the...
