Try Komachi, Kibo, Sushi Sushi. All much better options! Don’t waste your money.

Update to the update: It’s not about the false charge or the money anymore. The fact that after reaching out to a restaurant that we have been going to for the last 5 years just ignores our calls and messages is the real issue.
Consider eating at other local spots if you read this. I have some good recommendations for the area if interested. Places we love, owned by families local to the area.
In fact I’ll review them and give them the ratings they deserve.
Happy holidays!

Update: Restaurant continues to ignore calls and even acknowledge that the charge was unfair.
Employee on the phone very rude.
I’m actually surprised that they have decided to go this route.
We’ve been loyal customers for years.

This weekend we ordered Cynthia’s through Uber Eats. We cancelled our order immediately after it went through because we wanted to change an item, and then reissued the correct order right away. Only one of our orders was delivered. The next day we noticed that we were charged for both orders (two almost exact orders to the same address)

Uber Eats said that it’s because the restaurant had accepted the first order within the cancellation/grace period, and “started to prepare our food”, but that we should call them and the restaurant can fix the problem.

Which we did, thinking that since we are regular customers who eat in and order take out, they would help us with this issue. Possibly even a credit or gift card.

Not the case. We were just met with “there’s nothing we can do” and would not give us anyone in management to talk to.

Whoever answered the phone today was very rude. Only answering with a “no” and refused to let us speak to someone else, which was surprising.

It is very unfortunate. We have been patrons of the restaurant for years. Family dinners, family celebrations, work events.

It’s a shame that a restaurant is willing to lose long time patrons over one mishap with an order.

I guess we will find somewhere else to go in the area although we are still hoping this review is seen and the situation is rectified.

Total SCAM!
Selections are at best low end dim sum and sushi. And quantities are ridiculous with average 2 pieces and some 1 with some items thinly cut one cant pick up with the chop sticks. EVERY Dim Sum restaurant gives min. 4 pieces inc. T and T supermarket. As for favor and quality buying from Walmart would be better. Never mind choices which are limited and as for service you never get the full order from the tablet and it's bought to your table piece meal by a robot doing several tables at once. So why should you tip when the robot doesn't even treat you special. As for removing plates that's just expected after all it's a restaurant. Acoustics are poor and tables offer no ambiance. Forget taking your date. But here's why this place is nothing short of a snake oil sales man. Orders are typical fulfilled in the first two rounds but progressive ones take longer to be presented at your table with even some items not even started as your evening ends and the human waiter telling you those items will take a long time to prepare. Hello! It's all you can eat. Better go a more legit Dim Sum place and pay for excellent and variety choices.

When I ordered I asked for more other vegetables, less broccoli. It was wonderful and delicious, the sauce was better than it has been, more flavourful. The S&S chicken balls were amazing...new batter? Lighter and so crispy. Have been going to Cynthia's for years, definitely improved

I like this place, but today’s experience is not what I used to have. The lunch menu is so small, even smaller than usual. And you choose from the pictures and get what you get. Check my photos what they show on the picture and what you get. I think I’m not going back to this place.

The food was incredible, fresh and delicious, there wasn't a single dish I wouldn't have again. Meat was grilled perfectly, every bite of a roll was perfectly balanced. Loved the rice dish options, not everywhere does those!

The robot-cat assisting with item delivery in busier times is cute, easy to understand and see, and all the wait staff where attentive and prompt. Booths had plenty of room and were comfortable, suitable for casual family, couples, or business meals. Will definitely be returning here.

(Maybe this is a weird notice, but I really appreciated the acrylic cube lights over the booths - they're pretty, but also very comfortable to look at for someone sensitive to overhead lighting.)

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, including rolls, wontons, and rice dishes.

Dietary restrictions: Went with someone who has a seafood/mushroom allergy and they comfortably ate their fill without any worry.

Parking: Make sure you go to the storefront that says Cynthia's Paradise if you're looking for the sushi AYCE, not the other resturant in the same strip that shares the Cynthia name. Sushi is on the right side of the lot!

Kid-friendliness: The vibe is geared toward a more mature crowd, but food-wise it would be perfectly fine for kids.

Cynthia Paradise is a food lover’s dream come true!I am recently visited for their Japanese and Korean AYCE dinner, and it was nothing short of incredible. The variety of dishes is mind-blowing—sushi, chicken, lamb, and so much more! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings or special occasions. Their Christmas promotion is such a great deal too—definitely an added bonus. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a delicious and memorable dining experience. Can’t wait to go back.
