Danish Pastry House Reviews
I love the Danish Pastry House philosophy of Hygge and the emphasis on a simpler, more thoughtful, and sustainable way of living. That’s why I was disappointed during my visit to the Shops at Don Mills location—everything was served in disposable cups, plates, cutlery, and stir sticks, with no recycling or sorting of waste.

The Danish Pastry House is a charming restaurant known for its delightful pastries, including the recommended Viking pastry, and delicious specialty coffees. The welcoming staff provide kind and warm service. It offers an extensive selection of sweets, with great lattes and sandwiches that look delicious at great prices. Occasionally, there are day-old breads and treats at a discount. However, seating is limited, so it's best to secure a seat before ordering. While some recent reviews noted that the texture of the Viking pastries was softer than expected, many customers still find everything from the pastries to the cookies to be fresh and homemade. Additionally, the raspberry jam is highly recommended, making it worth a visit to the mall just for the pastries.
