Tried The Flaming Stove Middle Eastern food for the first time. I picked the shawarma which is a bit different than a traditional shawarma. Their big servings are great for sharing, and they use a special wrap called Saj instead of the usual pita. The flavour was great and everything was very fresh. Look forward to go back and try something new from their menu.

I ordered online and paid online, went to pick it up, and they hadn’t even started making it. The guy at the checkout showed me the order sheet. I waited 5-7 min pass, I ask about my order and they LOST the order sheet they just showed me. Manager says no record in their system. I showed him the confirmation email. They then find the order sheet and make the food. Manager says he will compensate me, we paid already so that was useless. Does nothing. In the end it took 40 min. Poor management, and no respect for the customer. Don’t order online. Experience was disgusting. Go elsewhere!
Onion Lovers Rejoice! If you absolutely LOVE onions more than life itself, this would have been a 5-star meal for ya. Seriously though, I've been here about a half dozen times and it's usually very good. Not sure what happened today, but I don't understand why there were sooooooooooo many onions added to my meal when I only requested a single portion. There were so many onions that it took up nearly a quarter of my takeout container (pictured below). Hopefully this is just a random occurrence.

Delicious shawarma! As soon as you walk in you see them making their Saj fresh. Deliciously charred chicken, fresh crispy veggies and very tasty homemade sauces is what makes this one of the best shawarma’s I’ve had in years. Looking forward to coming back the next time I’m in the area.
