I got two fish tacos and the chicken tinga taco I believe along with their chips and guac.Let’s start off with the fish tacos I would give them 2.5/5 - the fish too me wasn’t crispy enough and it was just too saucyThe chicken taco - 2/5- the lettuce on top was going bad it was brown a bit and honestly it was just fried chicken it was literally whatever had no taste reallyThe chips and guac - -1/5 - I did not like these at all the chips were gross and the guac was not made fresh that day you could taste that it was going back and it was just left overs from the day before was very brown when I got it too.Service - 5/5 - guy at the front was really nice and I got my food quick.Atmosphere / aesthetic - 5/5 - the inside was really nice but I think they are too focussed on the aesthetic of the store rather than the food. If they put the same effort they did on the inside of their store with their food it could be immaculate and soo much better.Overall I would give it a 2.8/ 5 - deff would not go again there are wayyyyyy better taco place in the city. Wouldn’t really recommend to be honest wasn’t all that, but they have potential and should revamp their tacos especially being that they’re like the only taco place in new market they can do better!

I know I’m the black sheep in reviews for this joint, but here we go ? :- - - - -Not to be a super negative Nancy, I’ll start with the PROS:✅ Finally Newmarket has a stand-alone taco joint! ? - This is super cool✅ Not to mention, in a bomb location, right on Main St in downtown Newmarket??✅ The interior/vibe is appealing to GenZ and millennials ??✅ The service was quick and the staff were friendly ??✅ I really like the half-in half-out feeling with the front window being able to open upNow for the CON’s (& there’s not many, but feel like the con’s rlly outweigh the pro’s):❌ First off.. 2/3 of my tacos tasted like sh!t. I ordered the fish, brussel sprout and tofu options and the only good one was the fish ?❌ Brussel Sprout taco ?: Sprouts were mushy and I found the avocado combination with the brussel sprouts to be very odd and did not go well at all. It was just a bunch of green mushiness ? waste of a taco❌ Tofu taco▫️: The taco was completely overpowered by the gochujang sauce, which was extremely poignant and salty. What could have been a nice soft taco with a delicious interior tofu crunch was just ruined by the horrible sauce ??- - - - -So there you have it - Cool vibe and location but personally found the tacos to be quite horrible. I can’t say much for the meat ones, although the pulled pork one sounded/looked quite scrumptious.Would I come here again? Yeah. Would I get the same tacos? Other than the fish, def not. I have only ever gotten Ghost Taco delivered but I am loving them! That is truly saying something because until I went to Fonda Balam a couple months back, I really could not care less about a taco. Now I think I've had Ghost Taco delivered 3x in the past month or two! I am not sure what service is like since I've never been in but every order has been packed beautifully. I also don't know the ambiance well but I did walk by the restaurant when they were getting ready to open and it looked nice, clean and bright inside. The important part is the food though so what do I get? Tacos!! I've tried 4 different kinds and I will put them in order of my most to least favorite: Alabama Fried Chicken, Poblano Con Queso, Birria Quesa, Crispy Korean Tofu. That said, even my least favorite of the four was delicious with great flavor and clearly quality ingredients. Plus, you gotta get the churros! The only thing I've tried from here and didn't love was the charred brussel sprouts, which were just too charred for me. That said, it's literally in the name so I think that's more on me than the restaurant.

Oh my GOD ghost taco is HEAVENLY! It's a cute little place on main st. They have the best tacos I've had since i lived in Florida where Mexican/Latin food is king. Yes, they aren't your basic taco but that's what makes them not just unique but also incredibly well-done. Their birilla taco is unreal, also they have a friend chicken taco that i haven't seen before and i am so glad it exists. Absolutely highly recommend!!!

Good Tacos, Cool Spot, Great service.Flavour of all of the tacos we tried were on point. The atmosphere was great and definitely a change up from many other spots around the area with their bright dining area and neon glow. Staff was energetic, helpful and service was extremely quick.It’s a great spot if you’re looking for your tack fix near main. They are a bit expensive, but defined good.
