The food and drinks were great. The service was friendly. I loved the atmosphere. We walked around just too see all the decorations. There was a ton of boardgames and we played two games that were new to us and had a blast

The good: I had a great time here. The vibe was great, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The inside was decorated with all sorts of nerd culture staples, I could tell a lot of effort was put into the decorations.
The medium: The food was good but I found the portions to be very small. I went for dinner and I was still hungry when I left. Not such a big deal though if you're only interested in the cafe part and just want a coffee or tea and snack.
The bad: the board game selection was not very good. They have a big collection (enough for all tables for sure), but I didn't want many board game staples. I spotted maybe 3 BGG top 100 games. I've been to 2 other board game cafes, both better stocked. I concede that it's definitely possible the popular games were already in use when I arrived. I plan to go again so I'll update this if I find I was incorrect. The board games I played were all missing pieces but still playable.
Overall, enjoyed my time and plan to go back :)

I got food poisoning after eating a crispy chicken sandwich and a milkshake. I spent the entire night throwing up and getting no sleep, almost ruining my new year plans. Do not eat the food, it's bland and expensive anyways. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was nice and comfy, and there was a good selection of boardgames. But still, unforgivable.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp

Was a different vibe but I liked it. I'm an anime fan and I enjoyed the games there with my friends.

Great place to go with friends or on a date - nice atmosphere and ambiance, almost pub like, which I really enjoyed. I had the mocha milkshake, and it was delicious, and a great selection of games available.
Staff were also very friendly and personable, I look forward to going back again

The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was good however the food was not. Everyone at my table had an issue with their meal unfortunately. They were also out of a lot of the menu items which I understand may not have been in their control but it left a lot to be desired with the food. They do have a great selection of games though!

My friends and I came for the first time a couple of months ago and had a blast playing Settlers of Catan! The vibe was great and it felt very chill and homey, the service was super friendly as well. They have a good selection of board games and you can also bring your own if you wish.
We also tried several of the food options including the artichoke dip, the nachos and the chicken Caesar wrap. Everything was good and much more “homemade” and fresh than I expected. Homemade queso and tortilla chips and hand breaded chicken…there is definitely effort going into the food which I appreciated.
There were also some super cool drink options including cocktails and loaded milkshakes, I’ll have to try it next time!
I know they do many events as well, it’s a must visit spot in Newmarket if you want a fun time at a reasonable price (only $6.50 per person for unlimited time to play board games) and some fresh food!
