Took our friends from NY thinking it was a good experience since it was our favorite restaurant outside of Toronto. Anyway, all of my guest including the kids had stomach aches and have diarrhea. We were shocked and can't believe someone in the kitchen is sabotaging their long time customers. We were so ashamed to our friends from NY city. Their kids were not feeling good after the meal. Im just hoping after you read this-> the management will do something about it specially-> (the kitchen and who is doing the food prep). For now, I am not spreading the name not like b4 that we always put it in our social media. I deleted all that already and asking my friends to do the same as they did immediately as well after hearing what happened to us all. Shameful and disgusting. But our server was 👌 awesome. Food was good as we thought it was, until we realized everyone had a stomach ache and diarrhea. 🤮🤮🤮

I LOVE the Burger Bar! We moved to Newmarket about 3 years ago after an extended stint in Old Montreal. One of the first things I noticed was the boring selection of chain restaurants in the area. I’m always on the lookout for something unique and was elated when I walked into GBB for the first time.
I know it’s a burger place, but finding something in Canada that can cook a burger to my liking (instead of well to over well) is a good start. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and every dish is well executed and as tasty as it can be. Trust me, get the sweet potato wedges and thank me later!
The staff is always friendly, the service is quick and efficient, definitely a must try in the Newmarket area.

I had the Nashville Hot burger, and despite it not being as spicy it was absolutely mouthwateringly good and crunchy at the very first bite so I didn’t mind at all. The sweet potato fries I had with it are perfectly seasoned and crispy too.
The environment was calm very warm, had actually good music on, clean. We came around 4pm so it was nearly empty save for us and 3 other people. Bathrooms were very clean too so that’s a great bonus.
Our server, a pretty lady whose name I unfortunately forgot, was so kind and attentive. Highly recommended. I would have taken pictures but the food was gone by the time I remembered so that says something at least lol.
