December 2024. This Newmarket, Ontario location offered a superb lunch experience, complete with excellent service and generous portions. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. Overall, a highly recommended destination.

Fish is pretty good here and decent portion but i’ll be honest it was very sad to see a hot dog by used as garlic bread and the charge is 7.95 and that’s without cheese ☹️other places sell for half this and it’s a real bakery ciabatta bun. Considering the price of dinner the effort to serve real bread would likely go a very long way to satisfying customers ? Poor quality considering the other items .
The pop being added to the bill then later removed was a conversation we had in the store and even when it was corrected you did not say outside drink was not permitted . you smiled and said no problem we fix the bill and apologized for the mix up saying you were very busy . there were 3 other customers and 5 staff . The drink was visible and staff didn’t not say it was not permitted otherwise it would have been happily disposed of on the spot . . I know the difference between a sub bun and hot dog bun . most people do. It is a review of the product and it fell far below the standard most food stores serve. The Fish is awesome but the garlic bread is a misleading and a rip off . period

Wow, asked for light batter and the fish(haddock and halibut) was perfect. The chips were fresh, not oily and just right. Keep doing what you're doing!!

Do not recommend this restaurant!! We ordered the Wednesday Special and the serving quantity is NOT SATISFACTORY (small amount of sides and Caesar Salad is not the traditional ingredients—kitchen is trying to cut corners) Do not order Salad —only lettuce and some sprinkle of Parmesan cheese—the amount of cheese is much less and lettuce was watery!! This is also with the EXTRA top up cost for the sides and still didn’t do justice
dessert is ***NOT*** CHEESECAKE Factory Authentic —they advertised the brand but the one served —the quality appeared store bought, other Franchise Branch “do serve the AUTHENTIC Cheesecake” but this Newmarket Branch doesn’t serve them.
The cheesecake didn’t represent “white chocolate” the top is only whip cream and drizzle of raspberry sauce and I think they served an expired one for my stomach to hurt after eating here.

Honestly my whole experience with this place is absolutely terrible I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE is overpriced and terrible quality for a single person I spent almost $30 and I threw the fries out because they're so terrible tartar sauce in a mayo packet ?????
This restaurant has new owners. The two fish and chip dinners I picked up were appalling. Chips were undercooked and the fish coating was so thin I could see the fish scales. Too bad, previous owners were good cooks and new how to make classis fish and chips.
