Like a lot of people here, I was incredibly excited for this restaurant. Been a big fan of the chef's ramen since it was at HBH 3 years ago. I hate to write this review but after spending $150 and trying 4 different soups and 4 different starters, I couldn't have been more disappointed. Broths are really, really bland. The make your on ramen is horrible, for 8 bucks for noodles and broth it should be decent. Pho fusion (2 min drive from here) you get a massive bowl of gorgeous broth, with all the fixings for the same price. The value here is awful, the food has been consistently bad (on 3 separate occasions). Ground chicken in the tan tan is frustrating to eat as you have over cooked ground chicken bits everywhere. The kimchi is great but a massive portion for a place that promotes comming in for a quick bit. Ordering food is frustrating as I had to go back to the front to order another dish, pay again and also tip again? If I did want to come here with friends to eat we'd have to go up to order more food or drinks. Just seems like you guys have taken a big step in reverse. Extremely disappointed

I LOVE coming to this noodle shop! Aside from the fixed restaurant menu, my favourite thing is, is that you can get a “Build Your Own” soup. You can choose the broth, noodles, protein and vegetables.

The food quality, portion sizes, service and prices are all excellent. For my bowl of noodles, which was larger than I was able to eat, cost $16.

It may be a small restaurant, but I would say it is one of the best I’ve found across the GTA!

Parking: Free parking lot just about 300 meters from the establishment. It is located just east of Main St.

We recently dined at Hop Bop, and while the service was friendly and efficient, the food itself didn’t quite hit the mark. Our server/cashier Anne was great, but the ramen we ordered was much too salty, which made it difficult to enjoy. We also tried the bao, and while it was fine, it didn’t stand out – just ordinary, lacking any memorable flavors or textures.

Overall, it's a spot with good service, but the food could definitely use some improvement, particularly in flavor balance and creativity.

Enjoyed dinner here recently. We took advantage of the fixed menu and had the rice bowl with 2 gyoza. Kiddos ordered the ramen off the kids menu. Portion size was good and the food was pretty tasty. I had asked for mine to be non-spicy, but it still had some heat. Service was on the slower side, but everyone was friendly.

Absolutely amazing Noodle Shop! I got the Vegetable Spring Rolls and The Bibim Bop Rice Bowl. The food tasted so fresh and the bowl portion was very large! Everything was so clean and well kept, and the staff were super friendly and kind! I will be back to try the Ramen for sure!

Ordered from Skip. Got the Japengo which probably would have been OK if the tofu wasn't soggy. It's like it was just cut out of the package and tossed in. Maybe fry it up a bit. The whole dish was pretty bland. The bao was actually really delicious and I would order just that next time.

Nice Asian street food. Tried for the first time and it’s the taste of authentic asian food that I missed. Had Sho-me the ramen and the soup base is nice, the pork is tender and taste like char siew (roast with sauce). The stir fried beef noodle is also tasty, with tender beef. Price is reasonable and service is good. Ambience is good too, with window facing main street. A little gem. Will be back!

Edit: Came back and tried different dishes, but was not as nice. The spicy beef ramen soup was ok. The Shanghai beef soup was disappointing - noodles was thick and good, but broth wasn’t nice. Wouldn’t try these dishes.

Parking: Parking in the surrounding area.

I love that they serve Filipino-inspired foods. The staff are very friendly and accommodating as well. Being located in the heart of Main Street is a plus.

The staff here are incredibly nice. The food is great too. I had the chicken stir fry and a chicken bun. The bun wasn’t the best as it had pineapple in it lol

It was a quiet Sunday, and I stopped in after attending a pottery class. The environment is clean, and the service was good.

We had the chicken bao as an appetizer. The bun was pillowy soft, the sauce was tangy with a little heat, and the chicken was crunchy. Delicious. ?

We ordered the beef brisket ramen, one spicy and one not. I appreciate that the chef was able to accommodate the non-spicy request.??

The broth was okay. Everything tasted "fresh" and could have benefitted with a little salt. The portions are good and pricing reasonable.
