Chicken Parm was good but I can see for some maybe a bit salty. For me salt level was good. Pizzas were great and the chili oil was good. The fish and ravioli was good. Has a nice outdoor patio area to chill as well.

I keep trying to give this place a second, third, and fourth chance. Service feels rushed, even though you are waiting a while for food. Food is sub par and there are many other greats spots around. Patio is great but that's about it.

The food and location at Joia are excellent, and I genuinely enjoy coming here for the dishes. However, the service consistently falls short. The host lady, in particular, comes across as unfriendly and often makes guests wait even when there are several open tables. On more than one occasion, I felt judged rather than welcomed, which is disappointing when the rest of the experience could be so good. A little more warmth and hospitality would make a big difference.

We had the most wonderful meal this evening! The patio is simply the best in Newmarket, our server Kennedy was awesome and what can I say about the food? It’s always great but today we had 2 items from their summer special menu- the peach, prosciutto and burrata was fabulous as was the special pizza with hot soppressato, caramelized onions, bocconcini and hot honey and our regular the beet and arugula salad. The flavours were exquisite! You’ve got to go!!
We hosted a cocktail reception at Joia Newmarket's upstairs event space. Our guests were impressed with the venue and raved about the food. Every item was a hit! The service was exceptional. Our servers were extremely pleasant and efficient. They contributed so much to making this an amazing, enjoyable and memorable evening.

We had a wonderful dinner tonight. Our server, Colly, was friendly, fast and professional. She did a great job. We had a glass of wine and an Italian beer and an appetizer with fish, squid rings and shrimp…. All were delicious. The. We had a pizza each with plenty to take home. Pesto chicken pizza and the meat pizza were both very good. Finished off the meal sharing a vanilla strawberry cake with an espresso and cappuccino. Atmosphere was great as we sat on the patio and watched people enjoying the splash pad. A perfect evening at Joia. Thank you
