This is hands down the best fish & chips I have had in over 20 years.
The fish has a thin crispy batter, and the fries are thick. Way too big portions for people looking to avoid type 2 diabetes.
Unfortunately, it's a 45 minute drive from civilization but if your in the neighborhood, go there so you can complain about every other fish-and-chips you ever get again. (I am not kidding, my Bolton co-workers are tired of my bitching)

Just looked up on Google for phone# as we have gone lots of times in the past. We go for the seniors special and never had a complaint. Service is exceptional, owner is really friendly and food is out of this world. I never go anywhere else. BonnieL

One of the best fish and chip places around with the friendliest owner and a very cozy atmosphere. Been coming here for years and you can tell the other customers around have been as well. Always consistent and prices and quality are great. Menu is extensive but, my go to is always the Halibut and chips!

The best fish and chips I’ve ever had. I was shocked by the size of fish and the amount of fries you get. You can’t beat the prices. I’ve paid double the price for half the food. This is now the only place I will go for fish and chips.

The halibut fish and chips were amazing. Went here after reading reviews and the food was even more better. Crispy batter and soft and tasty fish inside. You can taste that it is fried in fresh oil and not old one. Chips were great too but I enjoyed the fish more. J is a really good owner and host of the joint. Shows he cares about his customers and what he serves.

Delicious fish and chips ($13 at the moment) and chicken and chips ($15). Very cheap in comparison to others in town. They had generous portion sizes. 6 large chicken strips vs 4 small at the restaurant down the road. Very clean restaurant. I expected it to be bad, but it was actually very clean including the bathroom. Older restaurant, but he knows his stuff and maintains the place well. We will be back in the future as this just became our go to place.
