I ordered a premium salmon on Dec27 to go, was told it would be 15 minute wait. I waited at one of the chairs, where everyone else was waiting.

After 40 mins, staff brought everyone else's order out except mine. When I inquired, I was asked which order mine was.

Next time, if you see a customer sitting at your table waiting for 40 mins, you should check on them.

Picked up some excellent end of day dumplings after a visit to the mall. Staff was polite and good value (40% off)

We ordered thru uber eats but came with no soy sauce. For a $50 box Sashimi is not fresh.

Pretty sure bribing people with free food goes against the whole idea of reviewing, no?

We placed an order through their site for pickup, and paid right away. We placed it for 4pm pickup. We had a confirmation email and text to confirm our order, and notification that the order was ready. We had friends go and pick it up, only for the order to be missing! They spoke with the staff, who was adamant that the order left for delivery. We called and repeatedly told them that there was no possibility of delivery, because we did not include an address and we placed it for pick up. This went on, back and forth, for way too long. They kept trying to investigate what went wrong, without a single instance of "let me make this right". Our friends were standing at the restaurant, attempting to resolve the issue. We called back, and they continued to tell us that they were investigating the issue. I had to tell them to just make a new order, as our friends were standing and waiting. At this point, they had been standing around and waiting for 30 minutes or so. This issue could have easily been resolved in the first 5 minutes. They knew right away that our order was mistakenly given to the person that was delivering orders, and yet they continued to go back and forth in their "investigation" instead of making a new order.

Very unhappy with how this was resolved.

Food ok but on the high side, service is bad with that Asian woman. It seems everyone owns her money.
Don't come on the weekend coz they have lots of take out and need wait super long!
I don't know why ppl like to wait when it is nothing special.

KIBO sushi house, Upper Canada Mall has great service, excellent variety on the menu and exceptional quality and value. Highly recommended.

The service was very poor (extremely rude Asian girl server), the quality of the food was terrible. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. If you're going to spend your money, it's best to do so at an establishment where you'll at least receive respectful treatment. Keep in mind that you are eating at the mall food court and being served by careless teenagers.

I always enjoy the sushi here. It IS a bit pricey, but the service really could be better. The server was a young lady (I didn't get her name) and the least she could've done was respond to our questions instead of staying silent or giving us attitude. I wont be recommending this place to my friends for a while.
