Best sushi hands down! Salmon sashimi is always fresh. Customer service is excellent; often will throw in some little freebies here and there (miso soup, spring rolls). The quality is always top notch whether eating in or ordering to go.

Came in originally for sushi, but then I saw a man beside me trying the salmon teriyaki and I knew I had to try it! I was not dissapointed. Generous portions, the salmon was moist, and the teriyaki was not too salty. Rice was perfectly fluffy. The atmosphere is very Kozy 😉 as well.

Best sushi spot in Newmarket!! . Kozy sushi’s presentation is what makes it standout compared to other restaurants in the area. Visually the food is stunning and the food tastes amazing aswell. I am a big fan of the shrimp tempura

Ordered takeout at least 3 times and the sushi is always quality, fresh, presented nicely and delicious. The popular tray is the bomb - great deal & variety. The apps we’ve tried also hit the spot (spicy miso soup!)
The owner(?) and chefs kindly greet you even when just picking up an order. Even included a bonus appy on the house !!!
I’ve never been a big wasabi fan but somehow theirs is better than any others I’ve tried—much more palatable and actually adds a nice kick without taking over. Looks very nice inside despite the unassuming location. Haven’t dined in but I hope to soon! Love u Kozy sushi

I saw somebody post about this sushi place on Facebook and I’ve been living in Newmarket for so long. I never tried them. And I am so glad that I did because the maid such delicious sushi. We ordered the red dragon, asura and beef tataki and omgosh. Everything was so delicious!! or we will surely be back to order more. The quality was amazing everything tasted very fresh. I am so pleased that my husband was also pleased. Can’t believe I’ve never been to this hole in the wall. I can’t wait to be back.

This is the best sushi place we’ve ever been to, and if you’re in the area you absolutely need to come here.
We passed by this place by chance on the way home from a cottage, and decided to stop in. The vibes are super cosy. It’s like a comfy warm cafe. The menu had so many options, all very reasonably priced.
We ordered a variety of things, and everyone agreed it’s some of the best food we’ve ever had. I’m vegetarian and there were plenty of options for me. We might drive 2 hours back here some day just to enjoy the food again.
Plus, the service is so fast and friendly and helpful. Our server chatted with us after and wished us a safe ride home. Plus all the kitchen staff said bye as we headed out. It was genuinely such a great vibe.
I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this place.

We tried out Kozy Sushi for the first time, and it was an absolute treat! The place has this super cool, almost minimalist vibe. The music is smooth and the decor reminiscence of a European cafe, which is really cool. And the staff are so friendly and attentive, they make you feel appreciated. The food is amazing, especially the sushi rice. It has the right amount of vinegar to have it stands out. We were really impressed! It’s the perfect spot for a casual, high-quality meal. We’ll definitely be back!
