yummy food! got the pizza. one was the smokey duck with fig honey which was so delicious and i would reccomend it! other pizza was the smoked chicken and bacon with mushrooms but we ordered it without chicken. also delicious! the pizza bread was very crisp and thin. great if you like a crispy bottom and crunchy crust the music is very loud and even outside we would barely hear each other talking at a regular volume staff was great! super kind and prompt even though it was during the lunch rush. 10/10 service great beer selection and there is an option for a flight to try a few different local beers

Such a gem in Newmarket. The environment, the food, and the service is unmatched. If I have drink or dinner plans with friends I always suggest this place first. It has a beautiful decor, really delicious drinks and a great menu. The servers are knowledgeable, and the manager Tayler makes sure to go above and beyond for any events you want to host. I have tried almost everything on the menu, and there is nothing I haven't liked. Check it out for your next date night

If I could give less stars I would. This establishment should be embarrassed. Asked for over easy eggs got sunny side up and when I asked for it to be fixed I was told chef says it’s over easy so it’s over easy and she walked away. One person got their meal and an hour later the last person got theirs. Was told I couldn’t order another drink until I finished my first one. Brought in our own cake and they tried to charge us a dollar PER SLICE. Absolute rip off. Food tasted terrible. My sisters blt came out and it was just a huge piece of fat on a bun with tomato and lettuce. The customer service was the most appalling out of all of it. Not once were we greeted pleasantly. Not once were any issues resolved and we still were forced to tip 18% gratuity. Which was not disclosed to the whole party prior to ordering. I myself worked in the industry for years but this place is an embarrassment. Do better

We recently hosted a bridal shower at L’il Hops Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! The staff, especially Tayler the manager, were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire event. They made sure every detail was taken care of, from the moment we arrived to the very end. No request was too small, and they were always ready to assist with a smile. The service was outstanding, and the food far exceeded our expectations. The drinks were particularly delicious and added to the wonderful experience. The venue itself was beautiful, and we were able to make it even more special with our own touches. Overall, everything was perfect, and I couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate such a special occasion!

Just had an amazing meal at this gorgeous downtown Newmarket spot! The owner of this restaurant certainly knows what he is doing. Everything was perfect. The beet soup, gyoza, chicken lollipop and mussels were all fabulous. Interesting flavours. Nothing overwhelming. The temperature of the food was perfect also! Highly recommend. Dinner for two with wine and beer was totally reasonable. Excellent service also.

Asked for a simple drink. Martini Red Vermouth with lemon. Bar tender gave me grief as to how I drink it then poured mine with a mix of Dillans. I asked for Martini. But he is expert he said! Try listening to your customer. Was not complicated.

The meat at Lil’ Hops Tavern was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. However, the fries were underwhelming; they were undercooked and tasted raw, which was disappointing. The contrast between the excellent meat and the poorly prepared fries was noticeable.
I hope they can improve the quality of their fries to match the high standard of their meat dishes. It has potential to be a great dining experience with a little more attention to detail! Service was great ! 😊

Amazing all around, had the halibut fish and oysters. The fish is fresh, flakey and the batter is perfectly crispy with no soggy spots. The fish comes with an entire half lemon which I love, and the batter doesn’t upset the stomach or over take the fish. The oysters come with fresh horseradish and a hot sauce made in house, very delicious! They have deals for oysters on Wednesday as well. Great selection of wines and a very knowledgeable bar tender, shout out to Luke. I’ve been coming here once a week the past few months and have yet to be disappointed!

I came in with a friend and we ordered avacado toast. The bread was soggy, overall neither one of us liked it - but when we told the waitress she did absolutely nothing to rectify this not did she take them off the bill. Service was slow and rarely do I remember being displeased enough to complain about food quality, how could you let us walk out having paid over 50 brunch for nothing. Had to eat elsewhere after.
