Mary Brown's Chicken

Food was bad, almost oiled up tasteless chicken with overload of sauce, kids burger was like boiled up, no seasoning fried chicken and the fries (tater tots) hard and dry for to go meal. Had to throw away half of the food because kids did not touch it as well, not worth it.

Placed my order on the app for pick up at 8:30pm. My partner went to pick up the order and it was already ready at 8:20pm. The chicken sandwiches were soggy and nowhere close to warm, the fries were cold. Doesn’t help that the 2 cans of cold pop and the coleslaw, were put inside the bag, on top of food and the weight of the cans, totally crushed the sandwich and was on top of the fries. Who puts cold drinks on top of food? With the price we paid, I don’t think it’s too much to ask to use a second bag for cold beverages and salads! Not impressed at all. For the price, definitely not worth it. First and last time.

Just to add to this review, I was told to send an email about my experience, 2 months have passed, never heard back from anyone. Absolutely horrible customer service.

First time visiting this location. LOVED KFC ever since I was a kid way back when, nowadays they suck. Popeyes is not any better. Mary Browns has the BEST Chicken around. Great and Fast service.

This is my favorite Mary Brown branch. It is conveniently located near the Newmarket soccer club too and it never disappoints. It’s hard to grab something quick specially when we have a long drive home after the kids are done with their soccer practice but thanks to this location they get a post practice option whenever we need.Service is faster than most locations.

I don't usually eat fast food but if I'm hungry and I see a Mary Browns location, I'll pick that over anything else.
Got my usual Big Mary and while the chicken was fresh, the lettuce was wilted, soggy and a little brownish and the bread was soft but something didnt quite taste right. Like it was old or something.
It was a little off putting and I just couldn't eat the whole thing. In the bin it went.
My 8 year old said her taters tasted a little funny too. Maybe the oil needs changing in the fryers. I'm not an expert though.

For the premium price that MB is, I would expect fresh ingredients everytime, even if it's 9pm. This is just one location out of many that I have been to but this one just didn't do my sandwich much justice.

I’ve been to Mary Brown’s a few times now, and they never disappoint. The chicken is always fresh, crispy, and cooked just right.

Even when there’s a bit of a wait, the staff are friendly and quick to make up for it. The Big Mary sandwich is my go-to—it’s huge and packed with flavor. I appreciate how clean the place is, and it’s nice knowing the food is made fresh, not sitting around.

Definitely one of the best chicken spots around!

Bought 2 big Mary's, both were tough, dry, over cooked and salty. The breast were extremely small. Been going to Newmarket (Stonehaven) location since it open . Won't be going back. Will try the location at the north end of town.
