The food was delicious but the service was horrible. A female waiter greeted us at our table and after we said we need another minute to decide she left and then disappeared completely. I then saw her grab her purse and I said there is no way she would leave without assigning us to another waiter! Turns out I was wrong and that is exactly what happened. After 10 minutes, my mom said can you please grab our waiter to another staff member in which case they brought us a male waiter. He came to our table but no apology nothing after we explained what happened. He then took our order but would barely come to our table unless we asked and we had to keep flagging him just to get some more water. We got the fish and chips and chicken wings and the food was delicious but the service was horrible. Will not be back if this is how they treat their customers.

Always a good time. Great local spot. Jalapeños poppers are really great. Definitely check out their Irish music nights.

A great place to meet up with some friends for drinks on the weekend or have dinner during the week. They have lot’s of beer options and are very accommodating if you want to mix something up instead.
I tried their flat bread and poppers and both were very yummy. Their chicken wings are a decent size too.
I find that half the restaurant gets super hot in the summer and the dance floor is not very big. I do love that they have live music most weekends.

Great long time cornerstone pub/restaurant on Newmarket's main Street.
15 beers on tap and in the 'free house' tradition several of them are micro brewery beer !
Staff are friendly and attentive !

This review focus strictly on the dinning experience. Food was a solid meh. Not bad but nothing to write home about; hence, wouldn't patronize this establishment in the future. Service was good and the pub has a great vibe.

Food is fantastic, fantastic service and the atmosphere is great but the quality of food for the price has gotten much worse. the selection of on tap beer for a pub was absolutely embarrassing. They had only 5 types of beer on tap when their menu shows 15!
Pros
Great service
Great atmosphere
Good hours
Good parking
Cons
Food was decent but over priced
Poor beer selection

Was great to chill with friends here and have a bite and a drink. Live music was pretty good that night. You rarely hear local bands cover Florence and the Machine!

We had brunch here. Everything was delicious, high-quality, in appropriate temperature, with good portion size, and not expensive. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was nice. Overall, we enjoyed spending time here.
