Terrible location. The brown workers can't speak English and it took me 5 minutes to order one thing. And had to repeat myself over and over again, I actually thought that she was messing with me. I will never be returning.

Be carful they charge you 75 cents for butter on your bagel. Will not be back. It’s not the money it’s the feeling of getting ripped off. I never realized they were doing it. Use to stop everyday for fuel at the petro Canada now I will find a new stop to stop.

This place is one of my fav second cup.Ankita outs so much love into whatever she does whether she is multitasking between orders and phone customers or prepping snacks and drinks, she is the best.Thank you for making this experience wonderful. Hope to see you soon.Kari

I love this location!!! The staff are so wonderful and the coffee is always great. Just wish that the hours were longer to grab a cup of coffee in the evenings.

Got a drink and two chocolate croissants in the Drive-Thru the crock chocolate croissants were rock hard why even bother giving them to me...Waste of my time I ended up having to return them in the Drive-Thru.

I love second cup but they have been open late consistently and when I speak to the barista she has attitude. If your hours are not from 5 am please update accordingly or get staff that arrive on time and open the drive through on time.

Love coming here for my breakfast before work, delicious pastries and drinks!The only downside is that staff is late most of the times at this location, especially on weekends. I come just after 7 am before work and a lot of times I cannot get my breakfast because the person who is supposed to open the store is late (it opens at 7 am).It is very frustrating, as I count on Second Cup for my morning food, as I know I will not have any time later in the morning to eat. I wish they could come on time…

On 26 February 2021, I left this cafe with a receipt for my Rewards card balance of $40.77. I subsequently did not attend a Second Cup location until my next visit to this location, on 6 March. The attendant told me my Rewards card balance was $0.77! I was told to contact the Second Cup customer care centre to report the missing funds. This so called care centre is useless!! I have sent them an email with a copy of my $40.77 receipt and followed-up with 3 phone messages for a call back. NO RESPONSE!!! AVOID!! I've been scammed out of $40.00!

Worst experience ever at the Newmarket Second cup location. Before the summer I was a frequent customer, going there weekly. And was in support of the company due to their use of non artificial products. As of today it’s safe to say I will no longer be in support of this company. I had ordered ‘3 iced vanilla medium size lattes and a gluten free biscotti’, through the drive through. As my boyfriend and I receive our drinks they are ‘hot’ lattes and we have no biscotti. We turn around, where this time walk into the store. As soon as I’m in, holding my tray of drinks, before I speak; the manger states clearly ‘we are not fixing that’! Note: I did NOT say a word before that. What if I just wanted to go into the store to put extra sugar in my drinks? (What a lovely way to greet a customer, and ask her what is the problem!) Ms. Xu (the name of the apparent manager), refused to remake my drinks and claimed I did not even order biscotti. I said to her and her assistant manager that served us through the drive through; ‘that is was obvious’ she did not hear what my boyfriend had ordered. I asked for the store number, head office number her (the managers) full name and the assistant or whoever that served us. However the mangers last name was only given. The end of my AMAZING ‘customer experience’ ended with ‘Ms. Xu’, calling me in her own words ‘You are very rude’ and her and her assistant walking away and ignoring me, and my unfixed drinks let alone my biscotti I never got! It is in no doubt to question why this coffee company is failing. Hiring managers and staff members giving the worst customer service/ experience ever. Other well known coffee stores, ‘Starbucks’ or ‘Tim Hortons’ for example are clearly better; these companies in no doubt fix drinks and provide Better customer experience where the mangers DO NOT call you ‘rude’ and walk away from you or ignore you. Worst customer experience I have ever gotten at a coffee shop. Newmarket seconds cups finest.
