Very average sushi. Place looks nice inside. Location is kinda weird.
Service is ok and food... well...
Not bad flavour but far from authentic.
Most of our rolls didn't stay round and just opened.
Wasabi looked weird probably power based with too much water to cut costs?
Not worth the price/quality

Best Japanese restaurant in Newmarket, very fresh blue fin tuna and scallop, hot pot udon is very satisfying, and the pork belly is beyond words! Not to mention their good selection of alcohol

might be our fault for getting takeout but the rice was really overcooked and mushy. there's also just a huge amount of rice on the rolls which dries up your mouth the moment you try to chew it

One of the best authentic Japanese restaurants. I have been there frequently, and their sushi/sashimi/ katsu don are the best

Rude owner, bad attitude and prices more expensive than high end restaurants downtown.
Avoid this one, there are plenty of better options around.

What a charming little restaurant! I ordered the soba tempura, and my boyfriend had the salmon bento. Both dishes were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the different ambiance. Highly recommended!

Called at 8:50 when the closing time says 9:30, and they told me they are already closed. Told him nicely that he should change the hours on Google and he said in very rude manner he doesn't want to change it. Will never buy from them. That is no way to talk to people, let alone a customer. I wish I could write more than 1 review.
Been here for decades, foods still amazing to me.
The food is really good, but the place is over priced. We there charged $60 for bottle of wine, the price in the menu was $36. The waiter told us that the menu is very old and that the price was updated.
The place feels like you are sitting in someone's kitchen.
