We got a chocolate cream puff, tres leches cake and coconut roll cake. All were really good but the coconut roll cake stood out! Not too sweet, soft and tasty. Perfect with a coffee. Definitely recommend trying this place out.

This is probably the best pastry and coffee shop I have ever been to. It is family owned, serves Persian and more common pastries and sweets, has amazing coffee and tea, and they make their own ice cream/gelato/sorbet (you can see them do it sometimes).
The two sons and dad do a lot of the front of house stuff, and the mom is who makes all the lovely food! They are lovely people who understand what customer service is.
They play classical music inside, and it is a very nice atmosphere. Always clean, always comfortable. I genuinely cannot recommend enough.
If you want your mind blown and for your tongue to have a treat, try the baklava. It. is. so. ridiculously. good. If I move away from newmarket, this place is the only thing here that would bring me back.

Sweet Aroma is a lifesaver!
I ordered a birthday cake from them, and it was absolutely perfect. The sweetness of the cream was spot on, not too much and just right. Initially, I was nervous because they didn’t have anything ready, and no other bakery was open due to the holiday—Thanksgiving. But even if they were open, I doubt they could have made anything as delicious as what Sweet Aroma did.
The team took my order on Thanksgiving, baked it in just two hours, and completely nailed it on such short notice. Their kindness and professionalism are unmatched. I can't thank them enough for saving the day with a truly amazing cake!
