I came here to try their bubble tea and was really disappointed. I ordered a brown sugar bubble tea, but it came out warm with no ice — I had to ask for ice myself. Even then, the drink just tasted like plain milk with sugar, no real brown sugar flavor at all. When I asked if I could get a different drink instead, the staff said no and gave excuses instead of trying to make it right. Overall, the customer service wasn’t great and the drink itself wasn’t worth it. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back.

Although the Fresh Tea shop on Main Street is a fun go- to, with satisfying beverages and nice lounge space, I’m always disappointed by the customer service. Staff are rarely friendly and always seem annoyed when asked to explain or suggest specialty drink options. A friendly smile goes a long way…. and is very lacking in this establishment on almost every occasion

It is a small oasis in a hot day. We stopped here in the middle of our bike excursion along Nokiidaa trail and had a nice time. Had a cold strawberry frappé, ice green tea and expresso. Everything was tasty. The stuff are very kind. The wibe of the place is cool. Not crowded, on the second floor they have two coffee tables with real chess set and soft armchears.

For the price, the product is mediocre at best. There are plenty of better bubble tea places in town. I prefer Ice Babo or Coco Fresh for example.

A nice time to sit and spend time with family with a drink in hand. Plenty of seating area also. The server was great and welcomed us with a smile. Fast service.

A shame I had to write this review since I do enjoy going to this spot and generally have a satisfactory experience. However the last time I went (July 5) the customer service was absolutely atrocious. The staff at that time (early afternoon) were very rude, not only did they mess up our (3 of us) orders, but gave us attitude when we called them out. The drinks here are good however there’s a good chance you will have to deal with extremely unpleasant staff.

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had. I understand it was a busy day, (Canada Day) but that doesn’t justify the rude and dismissive attitude of the two girls at the counter. I don’t usually come here, so I asked what was in a drink—there is NOTHING wrong with asking if I don’t know the menu! They rolled their eyes instead of just answering. Then they gave me the wrong drink, and when I asked for the correct one, they rolled their eyes again and practically threw it on the table with clear disdain. Awful experience. I won’t be coming back or recommending this place.
Such a disappointment and scam. The menu prices are different from what you get charged for. They overcharged me on my order. Once I noticed and brought it up the employees were very unwilling to help and confirmed that the prices on the screens are not updated. I asked to pay the price that is posted on the menu but they kept blaming it on the owner rather than offering a resolution. I also did not appreciate the water diluted soap in the washroom, do not go in expecting minimum standards to be met.

My wife and I took a walk today on Main St in Newmarket and ended up at the Tea Shop for some hydration and a small hang.
She ordered the Awesome Strawberry bubble tea, and I ordered the American Latte. Both were fantastic, and it was a very chilled out vibe in store. It's always great to have these key stops on Main Street, especially right here in our home of Newmarket. Great times as usual!
