It’s one of my go to place , to have them authentic Caribbean food, Foods amazing , the people there treat you more like family. Their oxtail is a must try.

I tried this place today for the first time. It was ok, but I'm pretty sure the food is not cooked fresh. It tasted like it was precooked, then frozen and warmed up on site. We had curry goat and curry chicken. Both tasted the same. Little seasoning and bland. The rice was overcooked and stuck together like mush. They did have a nice hot sauce, though.

I don’t usually post reviews!!! But this time I have to . I ordered a jerk pork meal for lunch.
1sr the meat was total dry and tough , rice was way over cooked and 0 seasoning. It also came with I’m sure frozen veggies out of a bag and steamed and again 0 seasoning. I had a very upset stomach about an hr after. I only eat half of it as I couldn’t finish it due to how bad it was . The beef patty was the only good part of my lunch . I eat Jamaican food regularly and this was no were close to it . Anybody that says it good obviously hasn’t tried real Caribbean food …. Won’t recommend or go back …..

Great great great service. Came back a second time as I was passing through the area. The food is good waaaaaaay better than those other Caribbean restaurants. So if u looking for Flava it deh deh real talk... how can i forget ... the place cleeeeaaan ...

It was possibly the worst Jerk/Jamaican food I've ever had. I wanted to give them a chance, so I tried a few things

Oxtail dinner - the rice was bland and the oxtail was unappealing

Curry chicken Roti - I asked for extra sauce and they gave me less? I ended up throwing away the roti since it was so dry. -$18 down the drain.

Jerk Chicken Dinner - the rice was bad, and the chicken was three small pieces, missing the jerk flavour.

I’ve ordered catering for 30 people and 6 people before and we’ve pickup food for home - Bonnie, her daughter, and staff are amazing. They’re so kind and very passionate about the food. Customer service is exceptional. It’s so easy to book catering and ordering in store is quick.

The food is amazing. The fried chicken, jerk chicken, coleslaw, oxtail… goat, chicken roti… all of it is soooo good. I would give it a 10 out of 5.

I dont usually write NEGATIVE reviews but this one really does need to be shared. Me and my fiance got lunch from here YESTERDAY . We both left and felt sickness in less than 2hrs. He felt mild symptoms of sickness. I GOT FOOD POISONED after we ate the jerk chicken with rice and steamed veggies . Something about the food tasted old and fowl. Especially the chicken it tasted odd. I have been extremely sick since yesterday evening i feel all the symptoms of getting food poisoned. Will never return to this place again. Please watch the freshness, quality and hold times of all your products it will help your customers enjoy the experience. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS PLACE ITS A HEALTH HAZARD.

I'm not sure what restaurant the other reviewers are going to but food was pretty average at very best. Had the jerk chicken roti had to be microwaved to heat up. Still was kind of cool. Patty, same thing so had hard edges. 25 bucks for a pop roti and Patty is a bit of a stretch for substandard food. Only saving Grace was the staff was very pleasant and upbeat.
Better choices out there in Newmarket for sure
