It was an amazing experience at the Basell’s restaurant in Niagara.. we reached a little late for the lunch, they were kind enough to accommodate us and serve us with pleasure. The omelette was so soft and fluffy with vegetables, and stayed soft till the end. Will definitely go back to this restaurant.. don’t forget the coffee.. so fresh and delicious..

Wow. What a dump this place is now. Haven't been in 15 years. Went a couple weeks ago on a Saturday morning at 9:30am thinking they'd be packed... I thought they were closed, we were the only people in the entire place. The man that took our order was just blah. Didn't say much of anything. Place was so dirty and dated. And breakfast was very ober priced. Should have gone to Falls Manor.

Found this little spot on our way back home. We love the small diner vibe. Coffee was plentiful, and the food was great. My husband thought, however, that the hungry man plate should have had 3 of everything instead of 2 bacon, 2 sausage, and 2 ham. Everything was great until I used the restroom. It was in a dingy basement, but the worst part is that in the women's stall, there are open garbage cans where there were dumped, fully used sanitary napkins. So disgusting. I know it's a tavern at night, but either have the washroom cleaned every morning when you open or use the actual sanitary napkins dispenser so a guest don't have to see that. This could have been a 5 star if it wasn't for the restroom.

Such yummy breakfast specials for GREAT prices and great portion sizes!! The food is all fresh and the service was super warm and inviting. Relaxing music playing and coffee refills can’t go wrong 😊

Friendly staff and quick service with classic diner food. We both got the classic breakfast and it hit the spot! The breakfast sausages were especially tasty.

This place is the antithesis of a homey diner. The building is old and has a lot of the original design elements, including rough plaster and wooden beams. There are plenty of seating and original booths and cafe bar. Their breakfast is textbook, and they have wonderful open faced roast beef sandwiches to die for, highly recommend for breakfast or lunch

Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options.

Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly

Wheelchair accessibility: Bathrooms are located downstairs. Not wheelchair accessible.

Me and the boys had breakfast here this morning, and what a pleasant meal we had. The coffee was great, the bacon was perfect (Real, thick cut bacon - not that cheap stuff many other restaurants try to feed ya), eggs also perfect...food was also served quickly.

Our server was an amazing lady, and we made each other laugh a few times. We felt very welcomed like we were eating at our relatives house.

Nice indoor atmosphere. There is a cool diner style bar with stools at the front, and then the rest of the place has nice furnishing that gives you an old school, comforting feel.

This place really is a gem. Forget Denny's and the cheap low quality buffets...check out Bassel's and see for yourself.

This is my new breakfast spot anytime me and the boys come to Niagara to paint the town red.
