I was so looking forward to Benihana's and let me tell how disappointing it was! The host was very good, and the server was good and it ended there! The chef was not very good low energy but the food was just not good. BLAND BLAND BLAND. So not worth the expense there was two of us and the bill was $287.61 ca ($218.21 USD). The environment was fine very smoky but that is to be expected. Overall save your time and skip Benihana in Niagara Falls!

there was 2 menus specialty vs traditional with 2 different prices i order from the traditional list while husband order from the specialty however our food came from the same group ( meaning the chef cooked it ) put a portion on his plate put a portion on my plate...so why charged a different prices..18 % tip added even though there was 5 of us ....ohh i don't think so it was a party of 5 should we decided what the percentage should be??? the food lacked flavour only species used salt and peper and garlic butter...AND the best part the server rolled her eyes at me when she asked me white rice or for 5 dollars extra for the fried rice ( i guess she was upset b.c we choose white rice ) and not the 5 dollar more option
with no alcohol purchased i guess you are going for the experience thats all WAY over priced

Food tasted great and quantities were very large. The show while the food was being cooked was very good and lots of fun to watch/partake in. Seating arrangements weee comfortable for the time we were there. The service was good but did have to wait a little while to order drinks for our second round. The cost was very high but you are paying for the show and the quality was definitely there. I did not like the automatic tip and Niagara Falls Destination Fee that was added to our bills. As an Ontario resident I requested the NFDF be removed and they did remove it. Iām not an out of country or even province tourist. That is is the only reason I brought the review to four stars was because of the price. I would overall recommend Benihanaās as a fun dinner experience.

Nice clean restaurant with great service unfortunately the food was average. As someone who used to frequently eat at their Toronto location before they closed it, I was sadly disappointed by the food at the Niagara location. Everything was way too salty, the fried rice wasn't very flavourful and my shrimp were overcooked and chewy. The prices are extremely high compared to Tappanyaki restaurants in Toronto so was expecting perfectly prepared food.
Entertaining chef and great atmosphere but food is not high end as the price suggests. Chef put so much salt on everything I couldnāt even finish my food. Noticed the butter was white (cheap quality) instead of yellow.
Service: Reservations at 8, started serving appetizers at 9pm. $120 for a 8ox steak and one small lobster tail plus hidden fees came out to $190.

The restaurant had the audacity to put a NFDF charge on our bill. When I asked the server what that was, she replied āit's for tourists.ā I said āyea, I won't be paying that,ā to which she replied, āwe can take it off.ā Beyond the blatant attempt to rip us off, the prices were hyper inflated compared to a normal Benihana. Do not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Went here with a group while visiting Niagara Falls and we really enjoyed it! Itās a Japanese restaurant where they cook right in front of you, which made the experience super fun and interactive.
The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was lively and perfect for groups. Definitely a memorable dinner during our trip!
