Nice clean restaurant with great service unfortunately the food was average. As someone who used to frequently eat at their Toronto location before they closed it, I was sadly disappointed by the food at the Niagara location. Everything was way too salty, the fried rice wasn't very flavourful and my shrimp were overcooked and chewy. The prices are extremely high compared to Tappanyaki restaurants in Toronto so was expecting perfectly prepared food.

The restaurant had the audacity to put a NFDF charge on our bill. When I asked the server what that was, she replied “it's for tourists.” I said “yea, I won't be paying that,” to which she replied, “we can take it off.” Beyond the blatant attempt to rip us off, the prices were hyper inflated compared to a normal Benihana. Do not recommend. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Chef was great! Food was great except the steak wasn't the best cut ( no fault of chef). Service was excellent and the birthday song for my wife was very entertaining and fun. We used a Wagjag coupon so the price was right too (except filet mignon wasn't available unfortunately). We will be back whenever we return to the Falls!

1 Star is all this place is going to get. We went there as a family on a trip to Niagra Falls and thought it would be a lovely special event to have together. Nope .... the Chef had no desire to give us an experience that it notorius for being Memorable .. lack luster at best while giving the other party on the end of our table more attendance in their experience. The TAXES omg ..... $150 extra on top of a majorly expensive meal ... never will be going there again or any Benihana restaurants in our future. Do your self a favour and don't bother, we should have gone to a local Indian restaurant that we passed up to got to this place - that by the way if you can't figure out that you go into a games Arcade to get to it on the second floor ... you'll miss it and I think you should. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, this place is a major disappointment. They encourage feedback as per the receipt. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Welcoming staff was good Server was kinda rude, and showing disgust sarcastic face always taking our plate out even we are not done yet. Chef was great with skills but fair on entertainment

This restaurant is way too expensive for the value. The wine we had was completely water down and cheap. I wanted to skip the butter and less salt for my food but the waiter insisted that the food was all cooked with butter. His comment was that the food would not be tasty without butter. The place is completely dark without any window and the entrance was not bright and welcoming. The services was good and the chef and waitresses were polite. However, there is a mandatory 18 percent gratuity. The knife and fork throwing performance at the grill was entertaining. That may be why. And I don't mind paying for it. This restaurant is definitely a tourist trap. It is ashamed though to pay such a marked up price for the food value. I would not go back there again!

The chef was great , food was good but the price is ridiculous for two cheapest adult meals and three kids meals it was 400$!!!!

The show was one of the least entertaining, the food was over cooked and extremely greasy and it cost $300 for two meals that were inedible. Very disappointing

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything for us and made the experience that much more enjoyable. The food was fantastic. The chef cooked it perfectly as requested for each meal. We had an allergy at the table and they did everything possible to make sure they respected that. They even gave alternates so that person wasn't missing out. The cooking was very entertaining and all of us had a great time!

We visited right before spring and NF overall was dead so needless to say there was absolutely no atmosphere in the restaurant as it was nearly empty. Everything was decent and the food was pretty good but it all went downhill when we got the bill. Not only was there an 18% “chef tip” included (for a party of 2 adults, 1 toddler) - when we inquired about it, the waitress made the point to say “ok so you want me to select no tip” (on the machine) - to which my husband responded: what do you mean? “There IS a tip included already”. Then we went on our way - to my surprise when I reviewed the receipt there was ALSO a Niagara Falls Tourist Fee - I looked this up and it is NOT a mandatory fee, not collected by the government and goes directly to the pocket of the business. At no point were we told about the fee and did not
Read it anywhere reasonably legible on the menus or entrance or table - which makes it even less so mandatory. We are really great tippers but when it’s not by choice based on service / when there are secret fees charged, that is absolutely a disgrace.
