Love the atmosphere, drinks are reasonably priced and the riding bull is definitely a vibe!

UPDATE nobody after 2-3 months has contacted me regardless of what the staff say they discriminate me and judge me due to what i look like to this day
I respect anyone taking time out of their day to read this although the other half of staff actually likes me so it’s a weird disconnect with only 2 staff members at this point , i don’t think anyone running the show is racist in anyway and they gutted the core of this community by kicking people like me out , nobody that knows me wants to go inside of that place simply because i’m not allowed to come and it’s a sad situation

Thank you
What happened to me at Big Texas Niagara was humiliating, and I still haven’t gotten the respect or answers I deserve.

I’ve been a loyal customer at Big Texas Niagara. I went there often, spent money, brought people with me, supported the place — because I truly believed it was for everyone. But after what I’ve recently experienced, I know that’s not the case.

I was singled out — not because I did anything wrong — but because of how I looked. A female supervisor and a male security guard have been targeting me. I found out from a friend that they were talking behind my back, calling me “ghetto” and saying they didn’t like my Jordan sneakers, as if that’s a valid reason to treat someone like they’re not welcome.

Let’s be real: this isn’t about shoes. It’s about judgment, discrimination, and racial profiling. They didn’t say it to my face, which somehow makes it even worse — like they knew it was wrong, but did it anyway. It made me feel ashamed and unwelcome in a place I once felt comfortable in. And I’ve done nothing to deserve it.

Out of frustration and hurt, I called Big Texas hoping to speak to someone who would actually listen. The only person who truly did… was a man who works in maintenance. And let me tell you — he was genuinely kind. He didn’t dismiss me. He didn’t make excuses. He listened, and he understood. He agreed that what happened to me was wrong, and he told me that someone — supposedly the owner — would be getting back to me.

That phone call meant a lot, because in that moment, I felt like he was the only one who saw how unfair this was. But sadly, I’m still waiting to hear from anyone else. Still waiting for accountability. Still waiting for someone in charge to acknowledge that this type of behavior isn’t just unacceptable — it’s harmful.

It hurts that a place I supported for so long would treat me like this over how I dress — over assumptions about who I am. If you wear Jordans, if you dress “street,” if you don’t fit their idea of what’s “acceptable,” you’re judged. Silently excluded. Labeled as someone who doesn’t belong.

That’s not just poor customer service. That’s discrimination.

If you care about respect, inclusion, and being treated with basic human decency — think twice before spending your money here. Because until they address how they’re treating people based on appearance, and until they start listening to the people they’ve hurt, this place doesn’t deserve the support of the very community they’re pushing out.

Big Texas Niagara — I’m still waiting.
Update i got a call back after filing a complaint and the lady who called me back was one of the people who was targeting me , and not sure if the conflict will ever get resolved because they keep making up excuses why i am not allowed. simple discrimination and everyone around me sees how sad it was

Probably the best bar closest to Clifton Hill in Niagara to stay up late and have a good time

Long wait to get in, $20 per person cover. Nice atmosphere and the bull riding was definitely entertaining

Definitely a dive bar.
Very dirty.
Rank smell in lower level.
Bartenders are really nice.
Bull riding machine is cool.
Loaded with bouncers!
Cute patio!
Band was playing while we were there, they were good, played a wide variety of music, which made it enjoyable.
Cool things to do within the bar such as cornhole, pool tables and the bull riding machine.
Run down bathrooms, water on the floor, for a $10 cover charge I expected the bathrooms and lower level to be cleaner.

Great bar. The atmosphere is great and the bartenders know what they're doing

We were tasked with planning a bachelorette party for 28 people, and I am so grateful to Sirena for helping me coordinate such a seamless experience for our group. From the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We pre-ordered our food, and it was ready and served shortly after we arrived, exactly as planned. Our section was reserved and set up perfectly, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The band Aldershot was fantastic and brought such great energy to the night. Everyone in our group had an amazing time — it couldn’t have been a better experience! Thank you Big Texas. We will be back!

I came to Big Texas on a bachelorette trip, and it was definitely a memorable party stop. For $10, you get a ticket to ride the mechanical bull as many times as you want—perfect for a night out with friends. It’s a fun, lively atmosphere with live music, an outdoor area, and (thankfully) bathroom lines that weren’t too long.

We had plenty to drink, so I can’t remember every detail, but I do remember liking that the shots came in little tubes—it reminded me of Miss Congeniality, which made us all laugh. My friends and I had a great time overall.

One note of caution: my friend did injure herself while getting on the bull, so just be mindful that it can be risky. Otherwise, it’s a solid spot if you’re looking for a fun night out.

Do yourself a favour and read all the concerning reviews about racism and this club targeting people with disabilities.

BIG TEXAS is simply a Racist Bar. Let me in because I was white didn't let my boyfriend in because he was coloured gave him no reason besides saying you can't come in....

You gotta do better. Everyone needs to STOP supporting this bar.

I'm going to do everything in my power to bring attention to how racist this bar is including how reckless the security staff is. I wonder if the local news outlets would love a story. I'll make sure everyone loses their security license. (if they even have)

Zeayo

Absolute dump, most watered down drinks I’ve had in my entire life, security breathing down everybody’s neck 24/7, security guards begging for tips in the men’s bathroom. Do yourself a favor and save the $10 entry fee and go to Local. right around the corner or literally any other bar

Don’t be sorry, be better.
