Blackburn Brew House

We have been to this brewery before on slow nights and have had little complaints, but tonight (Saturday) was a different story. It was not unreasonably busy, but it seemed the staff were having a very difficult time and service was awful. The staff were friendly enough, but it took my salad almost a whole hour to come to the table while the other 5 people in my party had theirs sitting cold in front of them waiting for me to receive mine. We had little children with us who were not happy to sit for so long. On top of the food taking so long, no one cleared the table, ever. We sat with plates on plates of dirty dishes in front of us our whole meal and we stayed for dessert. We had birthday presents to open and there wasn't any table space to even think of opening them until we personally stacked everything and put it to the side the best we could.... There was a large party sitting beside us and we had to look at their table completely full of dishes long after they had left as well.

First visit. I am a huge fan of local craft beers. Went with a friend today. We both ordered a round of flights. When we ordered our food, our waitress said they were waiting on chicken, so it would be a while. We were fine with that. She even offered to comp our flights for the wait. She comped my friends but not mine.
I don't hold it against her. Food and beer were good. Forgot to grab a beer glass for my collection though :(

Seltzer was good-Atmosphere was nice, and good music playing.
Service was very underwhelming and not overly friendly. Bacon on the Cobb salad literally looked like chopped raw bacon(grossed me out), pulled pork tacos were ice cold, not sure if that’s how they’re supposed to be served but cold pork was not appealing. This place has a lot of potential but needs some improvement.

Awesome place, 4.5 definitely. When we arrived it looked dead and we were skeptical about it. Glad we stayed. Great food, ambient, staff and family friendly place. Definitely recommend to give it a go! 🔥

Really great local brewery!

Super unimpressed. Maybe you have to be drinking to enjoy the food? But I was there for lunch so no drinks. Got the Pork Tacos to eat in and buffalo chicken sandwich to go.

Tacos. Flavours were good but they were cold and not very filling. Very small for $20.

Buffalo chicken. Just... Unacceptable. The chicken seemed like deep fried boxed frozen chicken fingers that were still cold. The sauce was okay but the cheese was disgusting. And the fries? Looked like McDonald's, tasted like McCain. No thank you.

The service was friendly. The dude seemed super rushed but there was practically nobody in there.

I don't think I will be back.

First time but definitely not my last time. What a venue! Great space for a local band, the best in area, to strut their stuff. Great drink and food. The staff was amazing!

Stopped by for a drink in the afternoon when we had some time to burn. We liked that it was off the beaten path and not right in the tourist district. I loved the atmosphere, a lot of open space with an industrial feel, and plenty of of room to move around inside and out. The bar tender was knowledgable and friendly. We tried a few of their beverages and we happy with our selections.

Loved it! Beautiful patio, servers were lovely, great vibes for a summer afternoon. As a non beer drinker…the raspberry seltzer and the Brunch ciders were great!!

We had a great time at Blackburn Beer Company. We live abroad and one of the things we miss is good craft beer-we found it at Blackburn Beer Company. Beers were delicious, food good and staff were amazing. The atmosphere was relaxing, it is a very cool and family friendly space!!!

A wide selection of great beer served in an amazing atmosphere. Food is excellent as is the service. Highly recommend the Blackburn Beer Company.
