Had the best fish and chips here ...super crispy fish and the seasoning of the fries was soo delicious. The owner told us they used homemade batter with herbs and it totally paid off. The crisp is very flavorful and the fish is refreshing. This is really a local gem to discover 💎

Delicious food. Chicken burgers were juicy and large portions. Fries were crispy. We wanted to try somewhere new and so happy we found this spot.

Wow, this establishment is a far cry away from the pirate bar it used to be back five some odd years ago. We came here from Hamilton for a new years dinner. Had the place to ourselves, it was nice. A gentleman, by the name of Harmeet owns this establishment. Very friendly gentleman, very inviting, greeted us and told us about the food and displayed a passion for his food unlike any I've seen before. He makes most his food and all his sauces from scratch. Things like the fries and mozzarella sticks he gets in bulk, but he ensures a quality provider. The mozza sticks had that nice gooey stringy stretch to them. The fries were the first hint this meal was going to be good. Well seasoned and crunchy, done just right. My brother's girlfriend had them in a poutine and the serving was very generous, definitely fill you up to the max with one order. She was very happy with this dish. My brother had the parm chicken sandwich and I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich. The chicken patty was perfect, so juicy. The Nashville wasn't your traditional style sandwich (usually garnished with coleslaw, pickles, and tossed in Nashville sauce) it had the seasoning dry rubbed on, I think there was a sauce to it, but the chicken was so juicy it really didn't need much. It was topped with a slice cheddar, lettuce, onions, and I think there was tomato, but I'm not sure. It was so good it was gone before I had time to really analyze it lol. The key take away from this meal was my wifes chicken wings... Of anywhere we have ever had wings, these by far were the best we have ever had. The breading was thin and not overwhelming, good meat content too. Generous saucing (she got the honey hot), and they are also marinated to boot, absolutely phenomenal. Harneet has a skill for his homemade sauces, he let me try his dynamite sauce (which for most people I would say is at the top of their tolerance for hot sauce, he also has hotter), but the ballance of sweet to heat is perfect. I can not stay enough about how good this food was. The place doubles as a convenience store, so its very unassuming. This place is on the route for one of my favorite motorcycle routes, so I will be back 100%. Thank you for serving me, and the outstanding dining experience.

Had a great experience at 2 Nine Five in October when I was in Canada for just the evening. Food was great and the owner and his family were so kind and hospitable!! Highly recommend!!

Amazing food, perfectly done!

2 Nine Five Restaurant absolutely delivered! I ordered the fish and chips, nuggets and the wings, and all of them were outstanding. The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy, golden batter on the outside and tender, flaky fish on the inside. The garlic parm fries were hot, well-seasoned, and the perfect companion.

The wings were just as impressive: juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection with a sauce that hit all the right notes. Every bite felt fresh and made with care.

From quality to flavor, this meal exceeded expectations. And the owners take great pride in their food. I love it when the chef interacts greatly with their customer and recommends what their best creation is!
Even though this place is away from the touristy area, it is a must try! Good prices and amazing flavors!!

The first place we found open during an ice storm on our way to the lights at safari Niagara was a little diamond in the rough. Great food and great service as a clearly family run business. They went above and beyond, and the food was obviously fresh, homemade and just delicious. Trying out little places like this can be either amazing or a disaster, and this place was 10/10 amazing

Went for lunch with my wife. Always wanted to try this place. Ordered two chicken sandwiches and a new chicken noodle soup. The food was great. The service was incredible. If you want to stay away from chain restaurants, looking for good food, give this place a try.

Would highly recommend! Not only was the food absolutely delicious (we had 3 chicken sandwiches, fish and chips, and poutine), but the service was spectacular with the family checking on our meals multiple times. You can tell they devote a lot of time and effort into the food and we will definitely be grabbing a bite next time we are in the area.
