We had the rehersal dinner for my son's wedding at Counterpart Brewing this past weekend. The team was fantastic to work with in the planning stages and the evening of the dinner. The food was excellent, the atmosphere fun and relaxed and the service terrific! Thank you!!

A trendy place to have drinks with friends. While they do make efforts to be family friendly, menu options are very limited for picky eaters and kids. Non alcoholic beverage options are also very limited. Servers are very knowledgeable about their menu and attentive. Great if you're looking to split a bunch of food with the table but horrible if your table is ordering individual entrees as everything comes out at the rate it cooks at (servers do warn you about this) ie fish tacos come out first and Buffalo chicken tenders come out 10-20 minutes later. I am usually a fan of live music but it was excessively loud for a weeknight at 6pm. Food was good. Overall a decent experience but it's clear they are catering to a specific audience and I'd be selective in the future about when/with whom I went with. Also getting hit with the sewage smell from the treatment plant after a meal is rough, but short of moving locations there's nothing that can be done about that 😅

We had a great experience at Counterpart Brewing! The vibe is awesome, with a welcoming patio, friendly staff, and even live acoustic sets that added to the relaxed atmosphere.

The beer here is really solid—creative, unique, and well-brewed. My wife and I both got a flight and took a few cans home, including the Pizza Pils, which we’re especially excited to try. Our flight standouts were:
• Better Place
• Broken Crown
• Blender
• March of the Pigs

The food was a hit too, with plenty of vegetarian options. My wife got the Tofu Banh Mi and loved it—perfectly cooked tofu, great sauce, and a really fresh coleslaw. I had the Fried Chicken Sandwich, and it was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavour—loved the jalapeños and coleslaw combo.

We also want to shout out the fries—nicely seasoned (tasted like Old Bay), and paired with a malt aioli that was super tasty. The house pickles were another small touch that stood out—fresh and tangy, and my wife was a big fan.

Our friends enjoyed their meals too—the Jerk Chicken Tacos looked delicious, though they only come with two and are a bit small. The poutine also looked great!

Overall, Counterpart is definitely worth visiting if you’re into great beer and good eats. Can’t wait to check out Counterpie, the pizzeria attached to the brewery, next time!

Counterpart Brewery never disappoints—great seasonal beers, tasty food, and a fun, and lively vibe. I love their service system too (put up or down the table number to signal staff) — perfect if you just want to relax without constant check-ins.

Nice patio, flights of beer are perfect as they are heavy on hazy beers, food just ok and it comes out at different times for your table. Staff are pleasant.

What an incredible spot away from the touristy madness.

My wife found this while on our vacation to Niagara so we packed the kids and came up for lunch. My son has an egg allergy which they handled very well. (The grilled cheese on homemade spent grain sourdough was safe.)

My flight of a Pilsner and 3 IPA varieties hit the spot and the bánh mi was delicious and the perfect size for a light bite. We even stayed to play board games for a bit before heading on our way.

I wished we lived closer because this place is aces.

I was very disappointed as I've heard great things. Went for late lunch with a friend. There were 3 servers working the patio. I wasn't ready to order my drink yet, a different server came back 10 mins later. Got our drinks, but server never came back to take our food order so had to go to bar to order it. Once we got our food the server never came back to check on us and we were there for 2 hours. Had to wave down a server for our bill. I ordered a $20 salad that was very good, but not worth $20. It didn't even have lettuce, it was more like a children's fruit salad that have a few slices of peaches, apples, grapes and cheese with croutons (which was the best part) and random sprigs of tiny leaves.

Great new restaurant in the Niagara region. Good for adults and kids. It’s conveniently located near Great Wolf Lodge, and offers up great food and beers at a decent price. I had the fish tacos, banh mi, and house fries. Tacos were good. Fries were too salty, but decent. Ambiance is terrific. Airy and open, relaxed, with an array of board games, puzzles, and a free old school cabinet arcade machine offers up plenty of entertainment for kids big and small. Will definitely go back next time we’re at the lodge.

Excellent evening spent at Counterpart! After much research spent exploring restaurants with the best chicken sandwich, I came across this place- chicken sandwich will knock your socks off! Pair that with the Ceasar salad and some fresh cut fries, you have just curated one delicious meal! Plus the live music on a Monday night, can’t get much better than that!

Came to this brewery 3 times this past week, 1st time was too good, should have stopped at 1.

1st visit, Sunday August 10 for lunch, phenomenal!!!!! Food and beer was so so delish and the service was fire. There was a tall tan very nice male and a female, with more tattoos I ever saw on a female, so so nice. Smiling, happy, BEST VIBE!!!!!!!!

Wanted to go back on Wednesday, August 13 night at 7pm. Not 1 of the same staff. 2 females, 1st one miserable 2nd one more miserable. Mad faces and mad voices. Food, beer still good but both females unfriendly every time they came to us.

3rd visit yesterday, Friday August 15 dinner. Where are the nice staff? 1 of the female from Wednesday working, still mad face and mad voice and unfriendly.

If I ever go again it will be Sunday lunch, Smh!
