Next to 2 busy plazas and is pretty small. My food is usuallt really good with good portions(English muffin breakfast sandwhich w bacon is my go-to) but my partners omelette was overcooked/burnt. Dena and the others are very friendly. Usually not much of a wait even though its pretty steady.
We stayed near the Falls for a weekend for the first time in 30 years but chose to eat elsewhere than Clifton Hill. It is well worth the short drive (5 kms) to Dena's Home Cookin'. A mid-morning breakfast was all we needed until suppertime. The eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes are excellent. It is clearly a popular place with people of all ages and has a nice family vibe. Don't be discouraged if you need to wait for a table. It shouldn't take long before a table becomes available. We went two mornings in a row. We enjoyed a quick chat with chef Harry when he came from the kitchen to greet patrons and we also enjoyed getting a chat with Dena as well on the second morning. We highly recommend a breakfast or brunch at Dena's.

What a sweet place to stop for breakfast! Very busy place… the staff was very friendly and knew many of the patrons by name. This is the kind of place that you want to be a regular.Restaurants like this need to be cherished and preserved…. You don’t get food like this in a chain restaurant. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this restaurant in Niagara Falls. Great selection of delicious, home cooked meals. Dena welcomes you as you arrive and all the staff are friendly, and provide fast service. Ample portions of food and nicely displayed. Love the variety of breakfast meats, home fries and sauted mushrooms that are included with a tomato and orange wedge to complete the meal!
