Frontier BBQ and Smokehouse

I honestly cannot fathom why this place has 3.9 stars. We paid $120 CAD including tip for 2 people for the absolute worst meal we have had so far on our 6 week US/Canadian holiday.
What was supposed to be all you can eat BBQ was equivalent to a low class buffet with a couple of meats smothered in grocery store BBQ sauce trying to be passed off as BBQ. The ribs were chewy and did not fall off bone, the pulled pork tasted like it was smothered in manwhich. Other meats such as chicken tenders and fried chicken pieces had nothing to do with BBQ, while there were 3 different types of chicken there were no chicken wings. The brisket was just ok. The entire food range was meh or ugh. Not one single menu item made me want to go back for more.
We chose this place thinking it was part of the Hilton as it is on their website. Hilton should remove this from their website, I have no idea why they would want to be affiliated with this place. Extremely dissapointed. We only had one night in Niagara and when deciding between Brazilian steakhouse, Italian family dining and Frontier BBQ we unfortunately chose BBQ. Wrong choice!!! If you want BBQ, do not eat here!

What an amazing place, the service was immaculate, the meat was really good smoked and tasty the potato bar was extremely good it had everything you could imagine to put on a potato, the soup let's not even talk about how good the soup was I had four 🥣 bowls. Everything went well at this place the staff you can't even say enough about them they were just wonderful great staff. When we visit Niagra Falls again we will go back to Frontier BBQ. Thanks guys I wish people like you were in the U.S.

Was a good experience, large variety of BBQ food, brisket was good, as was the fried chicken, They give you 3 pork ribs at a time. They were dry and over cooked, made in advance and warmed on the grill for a few seconds. Salad and spud bar was nice. Way overpriced for the food you get. But its in the tourist zone so you can expect to pay more.

this place was amazing! we came on Saturday evening and were seated right away. Our server was also the bartender and he was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. I will return on my next trip to Niagara!

Without exaggeration, this is the best restaurant I have ever been to. We came here for a weekend trip from Windsor, and came across this masterpiece. All you can eat BBQ…amazing. And the food was absolutely incredible! 5 out of 5 I would recommend. And I will absolutely be back. And our server Mary was fantastic as well!

Food was good, it's a good value. Their soup bar is one soup so that was a bit disappointing but overall it was a very good meal for $44. And if it's your birthday week it's half price!

Was really hyped up and excited to try here.Got there early. They werent busy so got us in right away. Got us seated at a table. Had to wait about about 5 mins for server to take our drink order. Said sorry took so long short staffed. I noticed there was only about 8 or 9 tables total in use which was abour 1 hour before close. I actually counted like 6 wait staff. Not sure how that constitutes short staffed. During the night i notoced most of them just talking with the other wait staff rather then providing servoce. A great variety of food but everything was bland. Brisket coccked with no bbq sauce? But a section of about 15 bottles of bbq sauce for you to decide what to use. All in their manufactured bottles afterwards. Also another section of like 10 hot sauces. I dont even think they seasoned anything with salt and pepper. Just seemed like a hodge podge of stuff thrown together. Is it bad when the best thing at a bbq and smokehouse was the carrots or mushrooms. In the pics of the food on google, alot of people show pics of sort of marshmallows dessert, however indidnt see it in the biffet. I was advised that all dessert is available but not included in the cost. When bill was brought, i was asked cash orndo i needachiem. I asked for machine. They actually took my card and put it in the machine for me then handed back to me. Did they think i didnt know how to use a debit/credit card machine. Just seemed weird to me. Wish i didn't have as high expectations as i did for this place. Definitely wont be returning.

Nice buffet place to hit up in Niagara Falls. Lots of good options.

TAKE MY ADVICE. DO NOT EAT at this Mickey Mouse establishment. Go anywhere else! The food was mediocre, the variety was poor and EXTREMELY overpriced. The cherry on top was all the fees added to the cheque including a fee for using a credit card (ridiculous)

I wish we could give less than 1 star. Over $100 for 2 people with waters, no dessert, leaving needing an imodium. Wanted to try this place for a long time but we were super disappointed. Dry, left out food, and barely any options for a buffet. Our old plates sat, I dont know how, as they were way over staffed. Couldnt even attempt to eat my moneys worth. Try Taco Tequila 2 mins away, never disappoints.

Waiter was never around, the food was not good, all the vegetables were canned/frozen, the brisket was all fatty pieces. To pay over $90 before tip for two people with only waters to drink, is insane for the food you're getting, especially when there is no dessert included in the buffet.

Price was not worth it .Decorations were the best thing about this place the food didn't taste particularly bad but it was not good . 5 minutes after eating I Rushed to the bathroom . 10/10 do not recommend

Not sure what the bad reviews are about, we went there tonight and the food was fantastic! Delicious backyard BBQ, the Fried chicken was soo good! Paired with the mashed potatoes and mac and cheese, amazing. Mary our server was an absolute pleasure, so sweet. Thank you for a great night!

The staff are so amazing the English language doesn't describe it between being greeted to service to those cooking and behind the bar and the the food is absolutely to die for always delicious and perfect in every way hands down an absolutely, unforgettable time every time . I will recommend to everyone I can ... Love this place
