Garrisons Grill

I’ve been getting take out from garrisons for over 20Yrs… it was always a bit pricey but now the prices have gone up and the portions are small.

A large Greek salad on its own is $16.50, to add chicken it’s an additional $7.50… in total for a large Greek salad with chicken is now $24…. They also had the nerve to get new take out containers where the large salad is now half the size as it was. So you are paying $24 for a few slivers of grilled chicken and a handful of iceberg lettuce, it also included 3 slices of tomato, 3 slices of cucumber 5 slices of peppers and 3 black olives.

The new owner should really feel ashamed of what they have done to this place. Last time I ever go there.

Also just to add I’m pretty sure the positive recent reviews are by bots given the same structure of their comments. The claim below by owner that it holds the same amount is not correct.

I'm so disappointed about the steak sub that I recently bought . I'm going to Frank's on bridge st for now on . Hey what ever happened to Garrisons in the Fort ?

Dont order the tacos anymore. Comes as 3 little tiny tacos now and the meat tastes like hamburger helper crap. Spent 50 bucks on 3 orders of it and now throwing it all in the garbage and ordered chinese instead. Chinsed out on the quality of meat and the quantity of everything. Terrible. Last time ordering from garrisons. Too bad because iv been ordering from there for 20 years. Do better

I've been going to Garrisons for over 10 years and it was the best place to eat until it got under new ownership.
Last few times was a horrible experience topped with today's take out purchase.
We had something cooking at home and ran to Garrison's to get some fries to have with our dinner.
First, I was blown away that order of fries costs $8.00.
But it's freshly cut and supposed to be delicious...
Boy was I wrong!?
They REFRIED day old fries and sold us that.
How desperate you need to be to have to sell old stale fries to your loyal customers.
DO NOT EAT THERE.
The only bigger garbage than food they serve are people selling it to you.
I will NEVER step my foot in there again.
Shame on you. You ruined a good reputation original owner worked hard to obtain...
I feel bad there's no ZERO stars I could give you, because even one star is too much. Maybe for easy and available parking...

The Souvlaki sub used to have Tzatziki and sauce all over the chicken with lots of feta it was a messy nice sub, I just bought two subs and they're dry as a bone the chicken is dry the lettuce is big chunks instead of properly shaved and there was just a spattering of Tzatziki and a bit of feta even though I asked for lots of photos. Total disappointment I won't be going back

I absolutely love Garrisons. The food here is well worth the price. I 10/10 recommend the steak deluxe subs and Greek salad. The atmosphere is always clean and high energy, I am 100% coming back soon!

52 dollars for 3 subs. We asked for no tomatoes on one & sure enough tomatoes. Little feta and sauce.

Bite into the chicken sub and a bone!!!! Will never ever be back... unfortunate because we loved Garrisons before!

Picked up 5 subs for takeout and the bill came to almost $85. Definitely not the same place it used to be — the subs were skimpy with toppings and left a lot to be desired. On the bright side, the cashier was friendly and provided great service.

Best Subs in Town!!! Always fresh and Delicious. My fav has to be the Steak Sub. The sub buns are always Jam Packed with tones of steak. Definetly get your money's worth! Highly recommended
