Food was good. Very small portion of fries with fish. Our server came to table twice once to take order and to bring food. Never came to ask how food was or if we wanted anything else to drink. Will not go back. Very poor service

So, for a fish place, this place has the best breakfast! There are breakfast options to choose from from as little as $5 as much as $15. The owner is almost always working as a server and her husband works in the kitchen. They are small business owners and they are doing a fantastic job! We just love them! Every time we walk in we get a hello and a smile!

If you love paying $13 for a bunch of fries and a little, “little” piece of fish, then this is the place for you. When I go for fish and chips, I expect to have a nice reasonable piece of fish, not the little piece they gave me at Canal Days in Port Colborne. We had 2 orders made, only a set of ketchup and tartar sauce was given. We also bough the smallest tacos I have ever ate (3 for $17), what a rip-off. Moreover, the cashier did not hesitate to give you change that might be overdue (a 1989 10$ bill)…(for the record, I kept it as I want to see if still can be used). Overall experience was poor, not very glad with the fish portions, not recommended (unless you are a fries lover).

Overall, the food was OK not the best in my first photo. It shows me using my fork pressing on the fish that has a lot of oil so greasy I have try other fish and chip places and they usually use a paper towel or let it sit on the rack so the oil can drains out And I recommend that they should do that here.

We went for breakfast and the food was good. The restaurant had a lot of healthy plants, and it was clean. The coffee is not the best so I will try tea next time.

Halibut House Fish & Chips has been added to me and my husband's list of favourite places to eat while in Canada! We love the menu variety, and the flavor and portion sizes are perfect for a hearty meal. The staff are also friendly and swift to ensure your meal is served hot and in a timely manner. Looking forward to visiting again!

I came in for a bathroom break, and asked for a glass of water - hot day today! They did not charge me anything and kindly gave me a glass of water with ice. Very pleasant and kind staff. Thanks so much!! While I was waiting I got a peek at the menu - looks so delicious and the cheesecake lineup is extra special! Will be sure to visit sometime for a real dine in and cheesecake. Thank you lovelies!!!

I really enjoyed the food, and the portion sizes were reasonable. However, I think there could be a bit more variety in the takeout menu. Overall, I would be open to trying this restaurant again.
