The food is normally good but went there on September 14 2024 at around 2 pm and the lady they had there was horrible her slice was not nice it was like we were bothering her sat on her phone the whole time and was very dismissive if she doesn't want to work then she should stay home cause an attitude like that can Really ruin a small business

I walked into the restaurant and there was a group of people sitting down talking, that's not an issue but it wasn't welcoming at all. I ordered a jerk chicken meal for $15.49 which is a bit pricey for jerk chicken but I still bought it. I also asked for a gizzada. When it was time to pay it came up to $22, and I didn't even get the snack I asked for. How does $15.49 with taxes come up to $22? I'm so confused. Then I went home upset about my purchase only to eat the jerk chicken and it taste like vinegar. It was absolutely disgusting. It was so sour. I couldn't even eat it. So there goes a waste of my $22. I do not recommend this place. The staff was not welcoming, they did not listen to my wants and they're overpriced. I might as well just make my hour and 45-minute trip to Toronto to get jerk chicken cuz this place was not it.

The only reason why I am giving a two star rating for this restaurant and not a one is the because the food actually had flavor I called to place my order and the lady who answered the phone was very rude and let me know she’s very busy I was shocked because I was calling to place an order as a customer bringing you business and long story short, I placed the order I came into the restaurant already she created a Uncomfortable atmosphere. By the way she looked at me. I told her I wanted to drink. She seemed very very upset. If you’re serving the population you need to know that you need to act a certain way. Because they are bringing your business if you don’t like working with the public, we should not stay in business the food had flavor the cabbage was disgusting. It was just shredded cabbage and carrots, and seems like they didn’t even have time to steam it. I would never recommend this place, but I wouldn’t recommend it so that that lady can adjust her attitude. Mind you I paid $22 or literally five pieces of oxtail.
My husband and I visited Niagara falls area on vacation and we missed our Jamaican cook food. We went in search and found this restaurant. The food was excellent. Real Jamaican taste curry goat and jerk chicken. The food taste better than the restaurants in Jamaica. Meat season to the bone.

I was in the area and thought of trying Jamaican food. Their macaroni salad is really great! I am not keen on macaroni salads generally but u won’t be disappointed with their salad! And chicken roti was one the best ones that I have ever eaten! It wasn’t very saucy and flavours were just great! It’s a really no frills kind of a place and if ure in for authentic flavours then it’s a must try! No air conditioning so keep in mind for hot days! Very friendly staff!

Have you ever walked into a Jamaican eatery ANYWHERE in the GTA or the outskirts and received a warm welcoming greeting ? This one was no different . My husband and I decided to check out this place while visiting Niagara. Jerk Hut Cuisine is dark dingy and lacks ambiance. The woman behind the counter looked, as usual, as if my husband and I had interrupted her snack time. She was immersed into her cell phone chewing something and she barely acknowledged us until we approached her. There was a gentleman with her , the "chef" suppose and I use the word chef sarcastically. He went into the kitchen to fill our order. The food was fair , however we will never go back. My husband did not tell me until after we finished our meal that when he peeped into the kitchen, the chef had a toothpick or something resembling a toothpick hanging out of his mouth as he was preparing our soup. Poor customer service combined with improper hygiene practices are the main reasons why we would never reccomend this place. Do better JERK HUT CUISINE.
