Fresh sashimi and delicious ramen. This is a gem to warm up after a hike in the Niagara Glen and seeing butterfly. Small restaurant with cute and peaceful ambiance. Food tastes great and presented so well.

I am a friend of the original owner of Michinoku. I spent a lot of time eating Koji's food, from the first day he opened, till the last customer before he retired. Out of loyalty and the fact his food was impossible to compare to, I avoided visiting Episode 2....Until last week. I was deeply missing my friend and his food...so I took a chance...and I was beyond impressed. There are only a few changes in the decor. The server was very polite and the service was great. ..and the food?? Well,,, I t was the next best thing to Koji's food that I have ever tasted...he could have made it himself.. I spoke with Chef Yeoung, the new owner ,,,and thanked her deeply. I was a little emotional and got choked up.. twice.. I didn't know if I was ever going to eat sushi again as nowhere else even comes close to the quality, ambience and pride in their food...But Chef Yeoung has won me over completely. Looking forward to many more meals at my all time favourite sushi place. Thank you very much Chef... See ya soon....Jason

This place is a hidden gem. I’ve tried almost all of the sushi restaurants in Niagara Falls but Michinoku is my absolute favourite. Their fish is always so fresh and their selection of sushi is so delicious. The service is very fast and friendly, and their price is very affordable compared to other sushi restaurants.

Overall I’d say that this place has the best sushi from the region. Highly recommend.

I don’t understand how this place Isn’t packed daily. The food is incredible and delivered in excellent quality, speed and presentation. The menu has tons of options and the atmosphere was incredibly brilliant and beautiful. It’s great for trying new things as well as keeping it simple for beginners to Asian food. This is easily the best sushi in Niagara. 10/10

Great food, friendly staff. Chicken Katsu was cooked to perfection. They made our 4 year old his favorite sushi roll of just rice and seaweed!

Sushi and sashimi were top qualities and delicious. Service was prompt and excellent. We ordered via uber, they forgot to send my 2 drinks. Owner himself came to our hotel to bring the 2 missed drinks and gave us 2 extra drinks and apologized for the mistake.

Good quality of fish at resonable price. They dont use garbage fish such as tilapia, escolar like most other Chinese AYCE sushi. You must try this place!!!!!!

Tried the Korean Style Tuna Bowl w/ Gochujang sauce and very tasty and VERY fresh! The rice at the bottom is super tasty and seasoned with something so good!!I would highly recommend this dish to someone who's looking for something lighter and trying to eat healthier!$38.00 for two bowls and I would buy again!Thank you for your kind service and delicious food !

Recently visited the place to try ramen. Loved the place and service. Its a cute restaurant with unique and beautiful interior. Its beautiful. The service was good and fast. We had tried vegetarian ramen. The quantity was good. It looked delicious. We found it could be little better with by adding some flavours. Felt something is missing. But we loved the service surely going to try other options.

Vegetarian options: I love ramen and am so glad they do have multiple vegetarian options which is not so easy to find . Thanks for that :)

Please note this review is for previous Michinoku restaurant (changed ownership in Feb. 2023).The BEST sushi! Always fresh and delicious. My favorite is Combo A. 6 pcs nigiri, 3 rolls and a few pcs of sashimi.

Went there on a weekday evening for dinner. I really liked the ambience of the place. The taste of the food was average, could be because of the fact that we ordered vegetarian options for Ramen. Have tried Ramen from a couple of other places and felt that it lacked some flavour.Might come to this place to try other options.
