Went for lunch myself an d the staff were super sweet and had some good music going. Was just myself inside but was cozy enough that I didn’t feel odd. I ordered the Korean Beef Sushi Burrito and it hit the spot after a weekend of lousy food I had been eating.

Best sushi 🍣 in Niagara Falls!
Absolutely delicious food with a homey atmosphere. Very Nice staff. Portions are a little on the smaller side.
Ordered the 9 piece sashimi for $24. They were essentially shaved…we could see thru them. Rip off!
Recently went for dinner to enjoy a bowl of Tonkotsu Ramen, Sushi and Gyoza. The ramen exceeded my expectations, the sushi was fresh and the gyoza was so flavourful. Will be coming back!

It was good food. Loved the vibes!
I recently visited a Japanese restaurant and had the pleasure of trying several dishes: Japanese curry, Tonkatsu ramen, and Beef Gyudon with rice.
The Japanese curry was rich and comforting, with a deep, savory flavor that balanced the spices perfectly. The sauce had a velvety smooth texture, and it paired wonderfully with the tender vegetables and meat. It was hearty, yet not overwhelming.
The Tonkatsu ramen was a standout. The broth had a full-bodied richness, deeply flavorful and just the right level of creaminess. The Tonkatsu pork was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and melted in your mouth. The noodles were perfectly cooked and absorbed the broth well.
The Beef Gyudon with rice was simple yet satisfying. The beef was tender and flavorful, glazed in a sweet soy-based sauce that complemented the fluffy rice beneath it. The dish felt wholesome and perfectly balanced in flavor.
As for the service, the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure everything was to our liking. The atmosphere was peaceful and calming, offering a great environment for enjoying a meal. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that left me wanting to return.
Awesome food. Got the ramen, teriyaki chicken and sushi. All exceptional.
If I could put 10 stars I would
Craving sushi and being tourists, we stumbled upon Michinoku Episode 2 via Google - and were so glad.
Ordering one lunch combo, along with two rolls, miso soup, and seaweed salad, every bite tasted wonderful. The food, be it sashimi or sushi, was presented beautifully.
A party of two, the mentioned order was a satisfying amount. Parking was also easy, which is helpful! We would definitely come back again.

I love this place. Good serving sizes and flavourful meals. The Raman is incredible! My favourite spot for Poke bowls in the entire city.
Their Poke Bowls are absolutely delicious! The staff are super polite and makes me feel comfortable! The music is very chill and creates a relaxing atmosphere! I eat here every week because it's my favourite place to be!
Fresh sashimi and delicious ramen. This is a gem to warm up after a hike in the Niagara Glen and seeing butterfly. Small restaurant with cute and peaceful ambiance. Food tastes great and presented so well.

I am a friend of the original owner of Michinoku. I spent a lot of time eating Koji's food, from the first day he opened, till the last customer before he retired. Out of loyalty and the fact his food was impossible to compare to, I avoided visiting Episode 2....Until last week. I was deeply missing my friend and his food...so I took a chance...and I was beyond impressed. There are only a few changes in the decor. The server was very polite and the service was great. ..and the food?? Well,,, I t was the next best thing to Koji's food that I have ever tasted...he could have made it himself.. I spoke with Chef Yeoung, the new owner ,,,and thanked her deeply. I was a little emotional and got choked up.. twice.. I didn't know if I was ever going to eat sushi again as nowhere else even comes close to the quality, ambience and pride in their food...But Chef Yeoung has won me over completely. Looking forward to many more meals at my all time favourite sushi place. Thank you very much Chef... See ya soon....Jason
